5.00Federico was a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable and safety conscious. The adventure was unforgettable as we rode this old rails-to-trails route, mostly wide crushed gravel, double track in spots. We went through numerous tunnels (lights provided) and over numerous bridges. In places green canopies of trees and flora provided shade as we pedaled. We rode along a major trout fishing river. There were frequent openings that revealed one hill top or cliff side village (Ancient Rome to medieval) after another. The return trip followed a beautiful old seldom used road (not a single car passed us) up and over a pass and back into Spoleto.

5.00We had a really nice day on the trails with our guide, Federico! He is very knowledgeable of the area and trail systems. We rode mostly gravel on our way out of Spoleto before returning on pavement. It was interesting to hear about the history of the rail system and fun to ride our bikes through the tunnels. The bikes were well-equipped with lights for our passage through the numerous tunnels of varying lengths. Federico offered a couple of options for total riding distance depending on client preferences. We had the opportunity to stop for coffee/snack along the way but be sure to bring a water bottle! We would be happy to book this trip again and will recommend it to our friends! Eileen and Dave
