Mostly Indoors - Avoid Heat & Chaos
Look, the biggest mistake you can make is spending your 1st couple days getting lost, fighting sidewalk crowds or getting straight-up ripped off by corporate tourist traps. I am not a traditional guide. You won't be herded around like cattle in a massive group following some stiff with a flag, a microphone and a rehearsed 3-hour lecture.
This is a raw and relaxed walk through the highs & lows of the Strip. We take a mostly indoor route while hitting several icons you need to see: Bellagio Conservatory, Venetian Canals, history of the Flamingo - and spots tourists miss like hidden speakeasies, quiet nooks, photo spots, top happy hours and 2-for-1 drink deals, lunch specials.
Grab a slice of pizza or a to-go beer as we walk. It’s a completely free-flowing, laid-back stroll with a local friend who knows the city inside out - who built this experience from scratch by living the real, raw grit of Vegas to uncover every hidden secret it has to offer.

Mostly indoors to avoid the heat. > Tour length: 2–3 hours depending on group size and stop times.
The Vibe: This isn't a dry museum lecture. I'm not here to talk at you for three hours while you nod your head. We move, we engage, and we actually talk about the city.
The Pace: Feel free to experience Vegas along the route—grab a drink, grab a slice of pizza to-go, or try your luck for five minutes. This is your trip, enjoy it.
Physical Reality: We cover 2 to 2.5 miles. If you have severe mobility issues or an intense phobia of elevators, escalators, or pedestrian bridges, this route will not be a good fit for you.
Age Restrictions: Our route moves directly through active gaming environments and near lounges. All guests must be 21+ or accompanied by an adult, and valid ID is required if you want to grab a drink.
Come Open-Minded: Forget what you think you know about the Strip from TV. Come with an open mind and be ready to see how the city actually operates.
Photos: I enjoy taking photos so feel free to ask. No extra charge and you'll have many instantly.
*Beyond the Strip:* I also run tours of Fremont St, the Arts District, and our Strip Bar Crawl (Bars Unknown).

Palazzo Resort Casino
Experience pristine, high-end luxury inside the Palazzo resort, away from the casino floor chaos. I’ll point out my favorite local value hacks right away, including multiple upscale afternoon happy hours and a hidden social darts club with an incredible view of the Strip to return to later. Next, I'll show you hidden museum-grade features most tourists walk right past: a 14-foot fine art piece with custom Italian glass birds and the only bookstore on the Strip housing rare first-editions. We finish in a soaring atrium featuring a multi-story waterfall, a Wizard of Oz display, and an authentic, 150-year-old handmade wooden Venetian gondola with free, quiet seating.
Step into the largest hotel complex in the United States, a massive 35-billion-dollar resort built by a billionaire as an epic honeymoon gift for his wife. We explore flawless architectural replicas of Venice—including Saint Mark's Square and real Italian marble columns—all beneath a 108,000-square-foot sky ceiling hand-painted by legendary artist Karen Kristin. I will break down the property's forty-plus restaurants, map out hidden happy hour specials, and share an insider hack for Thomas Keller’s Bouchon to get Michelin-caliber dining from Napa without the high price tag or pretension.
THE BLUEPRINT LIST: A curated list of every spot & deal we cover for future trip reference.
PHOTOS: I once had MySpace.... I can snap great shots on your own phone so you get them instantly.
ORIGINAL ROUTE: 100% Custom built from years of pounding the streets and making connections.

If you are trying to see the main spots of Las Vegas, this is perfect! We do not gamble and only had one night, this really helped us navigate the area!

A great way to see the highlights and some hidden gems of Las Vegas! Do it at the start of your trip so you have time to go back and check some of the stops out!

John showed us a number of highlights during our tour of several hotels on the strip, including several interesting hideaways. We loved the Conservatory in Bellagio and the Chandelier Bar in Cosmopolitan.

We learned some new things about Las Vegas and even went back to one of the restaurants and the Flight Club Jonathon showed us. It was a great tour! Especially if you’re not sure what to do in Vegas.

Jonathan our guide was great! He met us right on time at the Flight Club bar for an afternoon walking tour of the strip. We had teenagers with us and it was no problem, we were able to take in all the sights, bars and casinos of interest as well as Jonathan giving heaps of recommendations for places to eat and what to see while in Vegas. We were able to walk through and buy drinks and tasty treats to enjoy while walking along the strip and had lots of bathroom stops. A lot of our time was spent inside in the air-con too, which was blessing. The tour finished at the Cosmopolitan Casino after 3 hours. Make sure you wear comfy shoes, travel light, take some money for drinks and enjoy all the little bits of information you'll receive. Thanks again Jonathan, we had a ball!

The tour was a great way to learn about interesting places to go on the Strip. Jonathan was a wealth of information and answered all our questions. We enjoyed our afternoon with him. Even though Vegas was experiencing a record breaking heat wave, the walk was comfortable: we visited many different places but managed to be mostly indoors as Jonathan had promised.

This was the best money spent in Vegas!! Jonathan was an amazing guide who knew all the hidden gems of this very overwhelming city. I got to see not only the landmarks but some incredible little back streets full of food and activities that would be easily missed without some local knowledge. This tour set us up for our ‘what to do’ for the rest of our stay. Highly recommend!!
