What To Expect
DAY 01: ARRIVAL LEH Arrive Leh, the region of mountain passes, a piece of broken moon land- a perfect place to witness the unmatched beauty of nature. You will be met upon arrival and transfer to your hotel, Rest of the day is at leisure to relax and get acclimatize. Overnight at hotel. (D) B- Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner DAY 02: VISIT TO SHAM VALLEY (66 Kms/ 2 Hrs one way) After breakfast, drive to Likir and Alchi Monasteries, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Lunch will be at Alchi or enroute to Leh. Drive back to Leh, en-route visit Hall of Fame museum (it was established as homage for the martyrs of Kargil war) & Shanti Stupa. Proceed to hotel for overnight stay. (B, L, D) DAY 03: EXCURSION TO KHARDUNG LA (80 Kms – 3 hrs one way) After Breakfast you will drive to Khardungla Pass (Highest Motorable road in the World at an altitude of 18,380 ft). Drive back to Leh. Visit Leh Palace & Leh Market. Proceed to hotel for overnight stay. (B, L, D) DAY 04: LEH – PANGONG TSO/LAKE (160 kms – 4 to 5 hrs) After breakfast you will drive to Pangong Lake at an altitude of 14,500 ft, Pongong Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful natural lakes in the country. The lake is bisected by the international border between India and China as two third part falls in Tibet (China) you will drive through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world.) arrive and check into your camp. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore scenic locals of Pangong lake. Overnight stay at deluxe campsite. (B, L, D) DAY 05: PANGONG – LEH (160 kms – 4 to 5 hrs) After breakfast you will drive back to Leh, enroute visit Thiksey Gompa, one of the largest and architecturally impressive gompas. It has 12 storeys and consists of several temples, lastly you will visit Shey Palace, which houses the largest Victory stupa, topped with pure gold and a 7.5 meter statue of Chamba or Maitreya Buddha in a sitting position is wrought of copper and brass, gilded with gold & silver and studded with precious gems. Lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to hotel for overnight stay. (B, L, D) DAY 06: Depart LEH Early morning you will be transferred airport to board your onward flight back home. (B)

5.00Experience in details: This tour was easily the most scenic and peaceful trip we’ve ever taken. From the moment we landed in Leh, everything felt untouched and serene. We visited monasteries perched on cliffs, walked by the shores of Pangong Lake (the bluest water I’ve ever seen), and even got to speak with some monks.Our driver was local and full of great stories. Be prepared for the altitude—you need the first day just to rest and adjust. But once your body catches up, the views take over. The cold desert landscapes and starlit skies are worth every second.
