Great time. Lauren was so informative. Really had an enjoyable time. Would definitely recommend. We had a small group - felt like a private tour. Lauren also provided helpful tips for other tours and made recommendations on places to eat/visit.

Red or Green was a fabulous, informative experience of side by side comparisons of authentic New Mexican and Mexican foods. Posole, margaritas, red and green chiles (of course!!) and ice cream. From the start, I could tell that the guide/chef, Lauren, was going to be a lot of fun! She was full of knowledge and shared it with the group in a digestible (no pun intended!) and interesting way. I especially loved learning about the differences between Mexican and New Mexican cuisine, while actually tasting them side by side. La Choza absolutely lived up to the hype, and the margarita pairings were fantastic. The green chile ice cream was a surprisingly tasty surprise at the end of the tour! The entire experience felt intimate, relaxed, and authentically Santa Fe. If you love great food, cocktails, and learning something new along the way, this tour is a must-do!

Loved this tour! First food tour I have been on, went with a group of friends. Every stop was amazing. I was afraid it would be too much food and drink, but it wasn’t balanced so well. Lauren was great, so funny and fun. Definitely recommend!

Lauren was an absolute delight! Sunny, witty, knowledgeable. The food was absolutely amazing, and her chef experience helped us understand the fundamental differences between the red & green chili. The small group size ensured we could all hear and understand what she was saying. 10/10 would recommend.

Lauren was the first person in New Mexico that we had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with, and I would love to spend the rest of my time with her in Santa Fe. The breadth of knowledge, genuine passion for the culture and food, and relationships she’s built in this community are evident from every interaction. The restaurants she showed us had incredible food, familial history, and she brought myself and my husband into her world with ease. I cannot recommend this specific chef guides tour, or any tour with Lauren, enough. 10/10- will be back soon to take every other tour provided by Lauren!
