The temple complex is a large one and one of few in Korea to be set on the seaside.[3] As such, combined with its proximity to Haeundae Beach and the east side of Busan, the temple is popular with sightseers, particularly during Buddha's Birthday celebrations when the complex is decorated with paper lanterns.

5.00We had a wonderful day. Our tour guide, Anne Yoo Kyung Park was very eager to give us an unforgettable experience. She was there with body and soul, told us a lot and showed us a lot. She is a very pleasant person. She also took great photos of us. The driver Kyung Tae Park, drove very well and took us safely from one point to the next. Also the other passengers were very nice, so we had an unforgettable day. Thank you for that.
