  • Great guide

    - Review from Tripadvisor

Iceland is stunning, and a good guide makes a huge difference, our guide Björn was excellent. He was friendly, funny, and shared lots of interesting local stories and insights throughout the trip. His positive energy and charming personality made the journey even more enjoyable and added to the beauty of Iceland.

  • I enjoyed the tour a lot!

This is a 6-day tour plus a day tour on the 7th day. Our guide and driver Ronan during the 6-day tour is very knowledgeable and told many interesting stories about the sightseeing points we stop by. The only downside is the limited time per stop in the Golden Circle on the first day. Perhaps it would be a better experience if it was spanned across two days instead. But overall, I had a great time and want to thank Ronan for taking care of us! The accommodation is usually basic with no laundry facilities, so be prepared to do your own laundry if you're on a long Europe trip. Also, we usually have dinner at the hotel restaurant where choices are quite limited. Would be better if we have dinner at a bar/restaurant where feasible.

  • Amazing 6-day ring tour with Hilmar as our guide

    219beatricey,May 28, 2026

    - Review from Tripadvisor

    5.00

The 7-day tour is composed of a 6-day ring tour and a 1-day tour to the Snaefellsness from Reykjavik. We had the amazing Hilmar as our guide for 6 days, who in my opinion, is the best guide you could ever have! Hilmar is friendly, helpful, and fill you in with the history and fun mythology of Iceland to the right extend - appropriately without bombarding you. Hilmar also went the extra mile and drove us to Borgarfjarðarhöfn for us to see the puffins and the Hengifoss (additional spots), which we all absolutely love and enjoy! This tour is fantastic for those who love the nature and hiking. Our group (of 3 ppl) is the only ones joining the 7th day separate day tour. We got another guide who is too enthusiastic and talks non-stop, quite the opposite of Hilmar. The group is hugh and have to squeeze in a small van; it was also very rushed with a lot of stops. This day is very exhausting and frankly not enjoyable. We would recommend blending certain spots from the 7th day into the 6th day (which actually ends early at Reykjavik at around 4pm). Conclusion is that we would definitely recommend the six day ring tour (a life changing experience!), but perhaps not the 1-day tour to Snaefullsnes.

It has been a great experience, with beautiful landscapes

  • Worth the travel from Australia.

Loved the scenery and the experience, all helped by having such a knowledgeable guide/driver (Seggie). Not sure of the spelling of his name. We were a small group of 8, and all bonded well on the trip. I think that group size was typical for the time of year that we booked. The hot spring bath was a highlight, but not the only one. On reflection, the 6-day trip would have been adequate. The 7th day was a repeat of some of the earlier experiences. Having more time to explore Reykjavik would have been beneficial.

  • Nature’s unpredictability is Iceland’s charm

    K6191LFjohns,Apr 7, 2026

    - Review from Tripadvisor

    5.00

Despite unpredictable weather, my 7 - day adventure was incredible. Our guide, Òskar F., went above and beyond to ensure we experienced the soul of Iceland. His enthusiasm and dedication turned every detour into a discovery. We were lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights on one fair night - breathtaking, even through the thin clouds. When whale watching and Snæfellsnes got canceled, Artic Adventures stepped-up and reimbursed us for the inconvenience.

  • Five Stars Ring Road Adventure (with Vignir)

    Janna D,Apr 3, 2026

    - Review from Tripadvisor

    5.00

I was on a 7-day Complete Iceland Tour (aka Around Iceland Adventure) in mid-January 2026 as a solo traveller, spending 6 days with Vignir (Vik to us!) as guide/driver for myself and the 6 others on the same tour. Vignir was fantastic - very experienced with the route and locations, and very keen to share his vast local knowledge about all things Iceland. He went out of his way to ensure we all enjoyed the tour and was very accommodating to make unplanned stops (e.g., bathrooms, pharmacies) in addition to the planned stops. The one-day Snaefellsnes & Kirkjufell Small Group Tour was the last day, with a different guide/driver, and was jam-packed in terms of minibus capacity and sights. I highly recommend Arctic Adventures overall and hope you get lucky and have Vignir as the guide for your tour!

  • Amazing country, great tour with fantastic guide, Oskar Freyr

    869ror,Mar 26, 2026

    - Review from Tripadvisor

    5.00

Our tour guide, Oskar Freyr, was very good. He helped us bond as a group and was warm, informative and open, as well as witty and funny. He did a great job of adapting the schedule when we had weather delays. He found excellent photo stop opportunities for us and shared lots of history to help us understand what we were seeing. He shared stories from his growing up and living in Iceland which gave us a great feeling for the country. He was also very accommodating, adapting the schedule where possible for our interests, and he brought personal experiences like arranging traditional foods for us to taste. The scenery along the route was spectacular with black basalt mountains and white snow everywhere. Almost every view out the bus window seemed photo-worthy. At the end of the tour, we were all sad that our time with Oskar was over. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone doing a tour in Iceland.

  • Phantastic Ringroad trip & Snæfellsness in winter

    ConnyFra,Feb 21, 2026

    - Review from Tripadvisor

I did not want to drive the ringroad alone in winter. So, I choose to take this tour instead as a made good experience with this tour company in the pastphamt. An amazing knowledgeable local Icelandic tour guide and a phantastic group of fellow travelers. We could not do the whale watching tour due to bad weather and were snowed in in Akureyri for half a day but the tour was amazing.
