We traveled with Prasanna for 9 days from Colombo to Hiriketiya and visited places like Wilpattu National Park, Sigiriya, Haputale, and Hiriketiya. We had only made a rough plan beforehand — and that turned out to be our biggest advantage. Prasanna was not just our driver, but also an amazing guide with countless ideas and suggestions. Every morning he offered us different options for the day, and we could decide flexibly what we felt like doing. Everything was super relaxed and easy. A huge benefit was that Prasanna is a native speaker. Thanks to that, we got along much better locally. He took us to places we would have never found on our own — such as local temples or less touristy tea plantations where hardly anyone speaks English. He always took care of everything and gave us truly authentic insights into the country. Without him, we wouldn’t have done many of these things — or only experienced them very superficially. Booking him was honestly the best decision we made, and he enriched our trip tremendously. It was also great that Prasanna seemed to know the perfect restaurant everywhere — whether we wanted something local and authentic or a more upscale tourist spot, he always had a great recommendation. Prasanna is funny, thoughtful, and incredibly friendly. His van was modern, very well maintained, and handled even the steep mountain roads with ease. We absolutely loved traveling with him and can wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable driver who also knows countless local hidden gems. We were truly impressed — a huge recommendation! Best regards, Finn
