We met Paul at The Southwark Brewery taproom. He was punctual and full of lots of useful information throughout the tour. The tour was well structured, but allowed us enough flexibility to try a new beer that wasn’t originally part of the tour (well worth the slight change of plan). The tour was good value for money enabling us to try a variety of some great beers.

I did the tour with Paul from Ale Hunters, it was a present from my wife, and it was a really great afternoon. Although I was doing it solo, everyone was really friendly and became increasingly chatty as the social lubricant started to do it's work. Paul is super knowlegdable and passionate about beer and brewing, as well as being a really fun guide. We visited four breweries including a bonus visit to The Kernel as well, and drank some really good beer with the IPA in the Mash Paddle and the London Black in Anspach and Hobday being the highlights. Highly recommended for those that know nothing about beer as well as those who want to learn more.

Thanks so much to Paul for the very fun and all round great tour of the Bermondsey mile. We had a great time visiting five taprooms and tasted a delicious assortment of beer styles. Paul was incredibly friendly and always happy to share his knowledge on beers and the places we visited. Got to learn about beer styles, their history and beer tasting, with some fun tasting experiments along the way. Each taproom and beer was quite different and by the end we were all really happy. Definitely recommend to take the tour with Paul!

Did this tour on a Saturday. Paul the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we got to taste some of the great beers in this area and hear about the history of some of the brewers. Would definitely recommend and go again.

I had an absolutely fantastic time on this beer tasting tour! Paul is a brilliant guide—welcoming, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable. We visited some incredible breweries, and learning about their history and the local beer scene was fascinating. The vibe was great, and the whole group was super friendly, which made the afternoon even more enjoyable. Whether you are a local or just visiting, I highly recommend AleHunters. I will definitely be booking another tour with them in the future!"

We booked this tour as part of my friend’s bachelorette party in London, and it was hands-down the best decision we made! It was super fun and the perfect way to kick off our celebrations. Our host, Paul, was absolutely fantastic. He managed to strike the perfect balance between being a professional guide and a great laugh. We learned a lot of new facts about craft beer, but it never felt like a lecture—just a great time with a pro. The best part? Because we all bonded over the amazing beer, we met some truly lovely people on the tour. We actually ended up spending the rest of the night with them long after the tour was over! :) If you're planning a celebration or just want to experience the Bermondsey Beer Mile properly, book this. We’ll definitely be back for another tour next time we're in town! Thank you Paul <3

I was gifted the beer tour as a birthday present and was joined by my two sons. We started at 1am on Saturday 21 March and had an amazing few hours with beer sommelier Paul Davies. As well as making it an extremely enlightening day, he also made it fun and as a result we all gelled as a group (the others were an American couple and two German women). Even though I'd lived and worked in London for decades, I never knew the Bermondsey Beer Mile existed – the range of beers and flavours was phenomenal and I'll be going back there at the first opportunity. A big thanks to Paul for being such a great host.

A brilliant Afternoon with Paul .. what he doesn't know about beer and the history of beer isn't worth knowing. Who knew that there was such a thing as a drive by sniff? Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, met some lovely people and laughed all day .. would highly recommend 👌
