Literally just a scalping operation. It was not obvious where to meet when we arrived as the “guides” were hidden in a corner on their phones. Their flags to locate them were just set on the wall. When we approached them, they just asked for name and handed us a couple of crumpled up tickets and pointed to the line. We had to ask twice for clarification on where to go and they just seemed inconvenienced. Definitely do not recommend this service if you expect any level of service. We imagine that the reason reservation tickets sell out quickly is because of operations like this.

I paid 34 euros to beat the queue and visit Arcadia - then my order was cancelled and I had to paid 49 euros for the same thing with the same provider! we were only visiting Florence one day so I had little choice if I wanted to go - 4 of us went - it was really crowded and noisy and there is really not that much to see - you can also see a statue of David near the duomo so I can’t see why you would pay this money to see the original - it looks no different and there is little else of interest to see there - I would suggest the Uffizi gallery is a much better option

This “excursion” is a complete and utter scam. They purchased all these tickets in advance and upsell them to tourist who don’t have tickets purchased by the time their trip comes because they all sell out from these scammers who buy them all in advance and sell them on site sites like Viator. There is no such thing as skip the line. You come at your allotted time slot and enter the museum, like any other person. These people are standing outside selling paper tickets that they pre-purchased for less than half this price. Go on the museum website for when you’re coming to visit and pre-purchased your tickets in advance for cheaper.

Seeing David was absolutely amazing but paying $115 to see it is absolutely insane! They charged us $12 for audio guides just for all the art work in there to be duplicates of each other and thrown in there with no purpose. Overall I would not do it again.

The tour operator did not show up. When we got to the meeting place there were three other tour guides there. They all three said that the tour guide that I was booked with does not work on Sundays. I contacted Viator and they tried to contact them and they did not respond back to them. Thank goodness one of the other tour operators let us join their group. Viator did give me a refund, but it made the experience very stressful trying to get a new tour guide.
