Canyoning is a sport that is booming a little bit everywhere around the world. It begins with a short hike to the upper mouth of a canyon to then descend into the creek bed while passing obstacles we find on our way. In this adventure you will rappel down hiden waterfalls, shoot down natural slides and jump into deep pools.
Okanagan Canyoning tours are offered by Western Canyoning Adventure that has been operating for 5 years in the Rockies. The mix of the knowledge of our local guides and the expertise of an already well established structure is allowing us to bring you in to those magical places that are canyons in the Kelowna area.
No need for previous experience to come on a trip with us. Our fully certified guides are here to teach you everything you need to know and provide all the specific gear.

Please know that every person on the trip will have to signe their own release of liability, waiver of claims and assumption of risks agreement prior to the trip. Guardians must sign for those under 18.
You should bring: Running or light hiking shoes that can get wet
Towel and a spare pair of shoes for after the tour (to be left in the car)
Snacks and 1 liter of water per person
Bathing suit (it's recommended to wear it before arriving)
Rain jacket or hard-shell (even if there's no rain in the forecast)
What To Expect
Our trip starts with a hike up to the upper entrance of the canyon (10-15 minutes). Then we enter the canyon and start our descent! We spend between 1:30 and 2:30 hours inside the canyon, depending on the conditions and the size of the group. During this time we will rappel down waterfalls, shoot down natural slides, swim in natural pools and zipline! At the bottom of the canyon, we hike back to the cars, 5 min. No need for previous experience! Just a sense of adventure!

Absolute ‘must do’ when visiting Kelowna

5.00At 50 years old, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this experience proved that adventure has no age limit. The guides were professional, encouraging, and made everyone feel safe and confident throughout the trip. Every obstacle brought a new thrill, and the stunning scenery made the whole experience even more unforgettable. The rush of stepping outside my comfort zone was amazing, and the sense of accomplishment at the end was worth every second. If you’re looking for an adventure that gets your heart racing while creating incredible memories, I can’t recommend this canyoning trip highly enough. An unforgettable day and one of the best experiences I’ve had in years!

5.00I had such an incredible time canyoning in Kelowna. The guides were fantastic—they made sure everyone was properly fitted with wetsuits and equipment, and they were friendly, sociable, and great at connecting with the group. One of my favorite parts was hearing their stories and learning about the canyon, the surrounding landscape, and the area's history. It added so much to the experience and made me appreciate where we were even more. I was pleasantly surprised that the water wasn't nearly as cold as I expected, and the guides (Matt and robyn) shared helpful tips for staying warm throughout the adventure, which made a big difference. The canyon itself was absolutely beautiful, and the experience challenged me in the best way. It pushed me to trust myself and take leaps into the water that I never thought I'd do. Every jump felt exciting and rewarding. I loved every minute of it and would absolutely go again. I'd definitely be interested in trying some of their other canyoning locations in the future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for adventure, beautiful scenery, and an unforgettable experience!

5.00Had a fantastic canyoning experience with guides Luke, Zac, Nat, and Matthew. I wasn't really sure what I was getting into, but I felt super safe with the guides and had so much fun! They did a great job of explaining what we were going to do at each step and demonstrating how to use all the different equipment. We navigated all sorts of slippery terrain in a beautiful canyon, and they found creative and fun ways to get us through any tricky parts. All of the guides were also excellent company and I would highly recommend getting to spend a day with any of them!

5.00We shared a wonderful afternoon with Nate and another couple who was a lot of fun to spend time with. The weather was too hot to do anything else. We refreshed ourselves repeatedly in the canyon water. I had not been canyoning before and Nate was patient and welcoming. It was also great bonding for my buddy and I. We love adventures or any kind. We would definitely recommend to others looking for an outdoor adventure where they can learn a new skill at a pace that isn't overwhelming. 5.00This was our FAVORITE part of our trip to Kelowna! Luke our guide was so fun and friendly and made us feel confident the entire way through. I next want to try their other location in Banff (as it’s a bit closer to home) - but if you’re looking for a super unique activity to do, I highly recommend this! Great for solo travelers, couples, or friend groups!

5.00What an incredible experience with Adrenaline Canyoning Adventure in Kelowna! I came with my brothers to celebrate one of their birthdays, and it was the perfect choice. Our guide, Robyn, was amazing, professional, knowledgeable, and full of energy. She kept us laughing the whole time while making sure we always felt safe and comfortable. The whole adventure was unforgettable. From hiking through the beautiful canyon, to rappelling down the rocks, to zipping straight into the water, it was nonstop excitement. The natural water slide was such a unique thrill, and sliding into the water at the bottom made us all feel like kids again. This is the kind of experience that pushes you out of your comfort zone in the best way, and you leave with so many great memories. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fun, adventurous, and totally unforgettable to do in Kelowna. Can’t wait to come back and do it again!

5.00I had the absolute best experience with Adrenaline Canyoning Kelowna on the tour! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, professional, and so much fun. There were countless incredible photo opportunities, and the scenery was nothing short of breathtaking. Our guide, Robyn, was the most friendly and wonderful guide we could have asked for. She graciously answered every question, shared fascinating information about the area, and gave clear, easy to follow instructions that made the whole group feel comfortable and safe. The pacing of the tour was perfect; smooth and enjoyable, with just the right amount of adventure to get our blood pumping. The overall atmosphere was both welcoming and adventurous. At the end, we were even given the option to continue the walk with a natural slide, which we eagerly took on. It was such a unique and exciting highlight! The zipline was also an absolute thrill. Even though I’m a bit scared of heights, Robyn’s encouragement made the experience not only manageable but genuinely enjoyable. This company runs such a professional operation, and it shows in every detail. I’ll be recommending Robyn and Adrenaline Canyoning Kelowna to all my friends and family. If you’ve ever even considered canyoning, this is the experience to go for; it’s well worth it!

5.00It was my very first time going on a canyoning tour and honestly, I didn’t know what to expect — but I was not disappointed! I chose the Adrenaline Tour, and it was absolutely perfect for the day. Not too long, but packed with so many fun and exciting parts. Our guide was such a sweetheart — always making sure we were safe, feeling comfortable, and having a good time. You can really tell how much knowledge and passion they have for the canyon, the forest, the water, and all its surroundings. That energy is contagious and makes the whole experience even more special. The group size was just right (6 people including the guide), so it felt personal and connected. A little tip for future adventurers: depending on the weather, the water can be quite cold. I’d recommend bringing warm socks and maybe an extra layer under the wetsuit to stay cozy. All in all, I couldn’t have wished for a better first canyoning experience. I felt safe, cared for, and completely in awe of the adventure. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to combine nature, adrenaline, and a guide who truly goes above and beyond!
