We are a family of four from the US, and our 3-day private car tour in Kyoto was absolutely the highlight of our Japan trip! From the very beginning, communication was smooth and professional. Our driver-guide was not only punctual every single day but also extremely knowledgeable about Kyoto’s history and culture. He shared so many local stories that made the temples and shrines come alive for us. The car was spotless, comfortable, and spacious — which made a big difference for our kids and my parents. Having air conditioning, cold water, and the ability to adjust our schedule freely was such a luxury compared to group tours. Over the three days, we visited iconic places like Kiyomizu-dera, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and the Golden Pavilion. But what made this tour extra special were the hidden gems our guide introduced us to — small local restaurants, quiet gardens, and even a traditional tea house where we had the most authentic experience. We felt safe, relaxed, and very well taken care of the entire time. It was worth every penny and truly gave us memories for a lifetime. Highly recommend this company to anyone traveling with family or friends — if you want to experience Kyoto in comfort and depth, this is the way to go!

We didn’t have great weather but appreciated the chance to see this area of Japan/Kyoto. Note- it is pretty quiet (or maybe that was due to weather) and the fishing village doesn’t have a lot to do other than the boat trips. The area is gorgeous and we had a great lunch at a small sushi restaurant. Glad I went but you should know the area is very low key.
