What To Expect
At 5:00am most of Rome is still asleep but we will get a jump start on the day and set out to explore the city in it's full splender. Since this is probably the most beautiful time to fully appreciate the Eternal City you can maximize the opportunities to visit more sites in just 3 hours than is possible later in the day. Pictures will be amazing with first the moon and then with the sun coming up. Pick up in a comfortable Mercedes minivan, we will start with throwing the coin into the Trevi Fountain and make the special wish to come back to Rome, then stop at the Spanish Steps for a run down to the famous Piazza di Spagna. Piazza del Popolo is the next stop where the Catholic Church used to do the public executions till the 19 cent. In Piazza Venezia you will be able to see where Mussolini used to talk to his crowds and the Colosseum is just a few minutes driving. Next stop....the Pantheon one of Raphael's favourite places in Rome. After some amazing pictures of the Pantheon we will drive over river Tiber for a stop on the Tiberina Island and then the beautiful Gianicolo hill where the most beautiful view of Rome will be at your feet. At this point you will be ready for a great Cappuccino & Cornetto while the dome of the Vatican is higlighted by the rising sun. It's not a simple driving around the city but you will be able to stop and get off the van many times, take pictures, make questions, explore and learn the history and the secrets of each site with the expertise of your Driver Guide.

Wonderful 5am tour of Rome!

5.00Our first morning in Rome we were picked up at our hotel and driven to several spots around Rome. We saw the sun rise and our guide Leonardo shared so much information about the city. It was a fantastic way to start our time in Rome. The city is so busy (and hot recently) and it felt very special seeing it wake up in the morning. Highly recommended!

5.00Christian was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed all his commentary as he drove us from place to place. He answered many of our questions as well. It is a very early morning but well worth it! It has been hot and the cool of the early morning was comfortable and the bonus with light crowds and traffic were evident thoughout our morning. I would definitely recommend this tour, even if you are not morning people, because we are not!

5.00Our Tour guide was fabulous! I’m not a morning person but he was punctual, welcomed us in a toasty clean transport. He was born & still lives in Rome…sharing so many facts about historical landmarks, funny, paid for our espresso & pastries at the cafe he enjoys each morning. Worth the 5AM sunrise start breathtaking sunrise photos!

5.00Unbelievable sunrise tour of Rome on NYE. Our driver Christian was amazing and so knowledgeable on the history of Rome! Super comfortable Mercedes van that is definitely the way to go vs other companies and their golf carts. Surreal experience getting to see Rome with no other tourists around!! Highly recommend!

5.00Our Amazing Sunrise Tour of Rome with Christian was absolutely amazing!!! This is THE best way to see Rome, when it’s cooler, no crowds and great access to areas that will soon be packed. Christian was a fantastic guide and made the tour interesting for the two teens in the family. They both thought (and we agree) that this tour was the best activity we did in Rome. Two quotes from the kids “this is the way to learn history” and “if I lived in Rome, Christian would probably be my best friend” LOL. Christian even took us to Garibaldi monument and had great binoculars for us to reviews the sights we saw from a bird’s eye view. He tailored to tour to our requests and scheduled activities and even stopped for a quick cappuccino break. I highly recommend Christian and Miles & Miles for your tours.

5.00Our tour was through Miles&Miles Tour Company! This was the highlight of our trip! Marco was absolutely amazing! We saw and got pictures of all the famous landmarks with zero people in them. I would highly recommend to do this tour if you’re a photographer; even if you’re not a photographer! It’s early, but worth every single penny. We stopped at places and got history of those places along the way. I wouldn’t even think twice about doing this tour again. I would just book it! You will not regret it.

5.00Wow - one of the highlights of our trip. The sunrise tour of Rome with Francesco was incredible. Being able to explore Rome and see the major sites without ANY crowds and often without any people was incredible. Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, St Peters Square and much more - just breathtaking. Francesco is a class act - super professional, knowledgeable, super welcoming and an all around great guide and person. We learned so much and greatly appreciate such a personalized experience. We were also lucky enough to have Francesco the day before to take us from Sorrento to Rome with a stop in Pompeii - what another amazing experience.
