What To Expect
Amsterdam Canal Ring
First we’ll visit the old quarter of the Jordaan. See highlights like the Westertoren and the Anne Frank house, taste the original Amsterdam ‘bitterballen’. We’ll navigate via the river Amstel to the Red Light District. See the fabulous storehouses en then visit the hidden side of the city. Cruise past the National Maritime Museum and admire the East Indiaman ship dating from the Golden Age and enjoy the exotic Hortus Botanicus.

5.00What a terrific way to see Amsterdam. Captain Charly was a wonderful guide and the snacks, drinks and comfortable boat were lovely. The two hours flew by, glad I chose this instead of a larger, or faster tour, also because we were able to visit canals that some larger boats couldn’t fit through.

5.00Captain Storm gave us a wonderfully entertaining tour of Amsterdam. His boat was well appointed,clean and comfortable. The snacks were very good and the bitterballen so yummy. He kept us engaged with his knowledge of the Dutch culture, the area and fun stories. Small, private and felt very local. We would highly recommend this cruise.

5.00Captain Erik was absolutely fantastic! His stories, combined with the historical photos he shared throughout the tour, kept everyone engaged from start to finish. You can tell he’s passionate about Amsterdam and loves sharing its history and hidden gems. If you’re looking for a thoughtfully curated canal tour led by a knowledgeable local rather than a large, crowded, impersonal boat tour, this is the company to book. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and I can’t recommend it enough!

5.00Captain Storm was a top-notch boat captain, tour guide, host and entertainer all rolled into one! His easy commentary acquainted us with Netherlands’ history and details of Amsterdam architecture and provided insights into Dutch culture. We were so captivated by sights and comments we almost forgot to enjoy the plentiful wine, beers, soft drinks and delectable Dutch treats. - A thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile experience.
