Explore one of the world's most iconic hikes, Angels Landing in Zion National Park, with permits included. A moderately challenging 5.4-mile round-trip hike offers stunning views of the canyon below. After a short shuttle ride, begin a steady ascent to the cool walls of Refrigerator Canyon. Next, climb the famous Walter’s Wiggles switchbacks to Scout's Lookout, and finally take on the thrilling chain section, with steep drop-offs (~1,500'), to reach sweeping views of Zion Canyon.

What To Expect
Angel's Landing
After meeting your guide at the south Zion Canyon Visitor Center pedestrian entrance, you will enter the park and hop on the park shuttle to the Grotto, where your hike to the top of Angels Landing begins. Begin with a steady ascent to the cool walls of Refrigerator Canyon. Next, climb the famous Walter’s Wiggles switchbacks to Scout's Lookout, and finally take on the thrilling chain section, with steep drop-offs (~1,500'), to reach sweeping views of Zion Canyon below.

Kelsey was extremely knowledgeable, made sure we were always comfortable, and most importantly made sure we enjoyed the experience. She was an amazing guide and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience one of the best hikes anywhere.

5.00We had an amazing experience! Tammy was fantastic and made us feel comfortable the entire time. She came prepared with snacks and was ready to go! We never felt rushed or uncomfortable through out the hike. The whole trip was smooth and navigated perfectly.

5.00We had an absolutely AMAZING experience on our Angels Landing climb with Explore Zion Tours. Our guide Kelsey was just awesome. She kept our group going at a comfortable pace, especially given that we had hikers of varying ages & ability. Her commentary along the way was extremely informative & interesting, & she did a fantastic job giving praise & encouragement to our group members along the way. We took breaks at regular intervals to let the group catch their breath, & Kelsey was awesome at recommending the best photo spots along the way (& she took many photos herself & sent them all to us later that day). We all felt completely safe (despite the harrowing drops & vistas!) The views were out-of-this-world — we’ve done many hikes in spectacular places (Glacier NP, Grand Teton NP, Yellowstone, Banff NP, etc.) & this tops them all. Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend this experience to anyone visiting Zion!

5.00DO IT!! Book the Angels Landing tour to guarantee yourself that you get a permit and an epic adventure!! It was the perfect small group setting with an incredible guide (Kelsey…you rock!!) It was just my husband and I, so we essentially had a private tour and personal photographer (guide) along the way. Kelsey was awesome at guiding and encouraging me through the “white knuckle” sections of the course, as I am 7 months pregnant with a slight fear of extreme heights. All while educating us with geological facts and wildlife statistics/sightings along the way. Truly the highlight of our entire Zion trip.

5.00Kelsey is the best! Informative , patient and encouraging, she enhanced the hike from beginning to end. When at the top I needed a moment she came to the rescue with some electrolytes and water. Angels landing is gorgeous and we ended the hike feeling accomplished and in awe of the landscape.

5.00God Kelsey was awesome. She was very patient with all of us, and made us all feel at ease and just a fun lady. I had my doubts before going on the hike, but I am so happy that I did. Very good hike and tour and tour guide.
