Every year, fourteen young Athenians are sent to Crete to face the Minotaur. This year, one of them is the daughter of Demokritos, a desperate Athenian merchant. He has reached out to you: "The place where she's being held is a secret. Will you find her before it's too late?"
This self-guided game takes you on a 90-minute walking adventure through the heart of Athens. Using the Questo app on your smartphone, you follow divine clues from the Panathenaic Stadium to the Temple of Zeus, through Plaka's winding streets, up to the Areopagus hill, and all the way to the Academy of Athens.
Solve puzzles at iconic landmarks, unravel riddles left by the gods, and piece together a story rooted in ancient Greek mythology.

I couldn’t get the game to start. I downloaded the app and it said it was unlocked but nowhere to start it in the app.

Fun game, great way to explore and learn about all the ancient sites not on the Acropolis. Very happy we did this. Note you must sign into the app with a google acct not an apple acct for the app to work.

Really enjoyed the start of the route and the opportunity to pause at each site to take photos and learn a bit more about its history. Directions were sometimes muddled between left and right and the directions to pnyx was way off. Should have just followed the actual signs instead of the app’s directions because ended up going the wrong way (by about 20 mins into the scrub) and because it was such a hot day had to give up on the entire thing when we were only half way through because of how hot and bothered everyone was!

Cool experience, questions are not difficult and it helps you experience the city in better way than doing it yourself.

sweet story, discovered some corners of Athens that I normally would not have seen - I like to do again in another city!

It’s an excellent way of knowing a city, you are permanently entertained and all of the sudden you have walked and watched most of the main attractions

I took the Questo tour around Athens. Was nice, but the English can be improved toget easier to the locations. But was a nice walk around the city with bites of history. I recommend it, as well using the Maps.
