  I’m so happy that I found Dominican Atlantic Barney Tours on Facebook. We had an amazing tour. From the very beginning of the booking Barney provided great communication and explained the tours and the time that would be spent at each excursion. Barney and his family were very accommodating and friendly. We booked The Monkey tour, ATVs and a city tour. We watched cigars being rolled, and cocoa being made. We got to sample chocolate and coffee. The Monkey’s and ATVs were our favorite. We truly had Exceptional service! I will 100% recommend their services to anyone that will be visiting the DR.   We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend them! They handled our group of 20 flawlessly, keeping everyone together and making the entire trip stress-free. The staff was friendly, professional, and our tour guide was hilarious and a joy to be around. • ATV Beach Excursion

  My family and I went on a cruise with NCL. The excursions for the cruise was very expensive so I looked for alternatives. I joined the NCL FB group and found this tour guide. We DM’d options, rates etc before making a commitment. He was very transparent and offered many options and alternatives for the excursion. I like that I was able to build my activities. He required a down payment which I appreciated by not having to pay upfront and in full. He sent a pic of our tour guide and remained very responsive during the planning. The excursion was private which I really liked and our name was on a sign which was extremely helpful because the port was very chaotic. When we got to the tour we had the most attentive guide. I was very pleased with how he led us. We have done ATV excursions where the guide is rarely looks back on the riders, no hand gestures and just driving along. This guide recognized the need to keep an eye on us and offered many hand gestures as my children where with us. He kept us at a safe speed and was very aware of the routes and changes in the terrain. I felt so much more at ease with my children riding with him as a guide. I liked the trails and the scenery. We were able to experience multiple terrains. We saw a man chilling on a donkey, a gentleman wrangling cattle in the road, so exciting. My 7 year old said it was the best day of her life. Overall it was an amazing excursion as we weren’t off the beating path and the kids got to experience the locals in their route. My only issue with this booking is it wasn’t communicated to me until I got on the excursion that the balance due should be in cash. I never take large amounts of cash on a cruise or off the boat. I was thinking I could pay the same way the deposit was made. This wasn’t a major hiccup but I would have rather brought the money with than have to go to a bank in DR. I wasn’t sure of the conversion rate so it was frustrating to know whether I was overpaying the guide. The driver wasn’t sure either so I left it up to Google to tell me the conversion rate. The overall trip was amazing just a small hiccup with the balance being paid.
