If no whales are sighted during your tour, you will receive a free return tour to try again. This return tour is offered at no additional cost and can be booked for another day within one year (subject to availability & non-transferable). What To Expect
Naturaliste Charters are the longest running whale watching company in the Southwest and have been operating professional whale watching tours out of the Margaret River Region for more than 30 years. Augusta season is May until August and Dunsborough operates from August to November. A unique six month Cape to Cape season of the northern and southern migrations. No holiday to the South West of WA would be complete without taking the time to view and photograph the abundant marine and ocean life that thrives along this magnificent coastline. As you watch these majestic creatures breach and frolic, we guarantee you’ll be mesmerised by their agility. When you step onboard our beautiful vessel, you’ll experience a modern, spacious and luxurious 23M catamaran, providing the ultimate in stability, comfort and safety. Marine life you might encounter during your whale watching tour include: Humpback Whales Southern Right Whales New Zealand Fur Seals Bottlenose & Common Dolphins Sea Birds Our crew are all trained in marine science and provide expert commentary. Guests can enjoy complimentary morning or afternoon tea, including coffee, tea, milo, green tea and biscuits.

5.00An absolutely wonderful experience with Naturalise Charter! From the moment we boarded, the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of — the warm and friendly atmosphere set the perfect tone for the journey ahead. What truly stood out was the knowledge and passion of the staff. Throughout the close to three hour journey, they kept us engaged with fascinating insights and commentary — never a dull moment! It was clear they genuinely love what they do and take pride in sharing their expertise with guests. What also impressed us was their thoughtfulness and attentiveness throughout the trip. They kept a close eye on passengers who were experiencing seasickness, checking in regularly and ensuring everyone was as comfortable as possible. That level of care and genuine concern for guests really set them apart. And the highlight — the wildlife! We were thrilled to spot several whales up close, an awe inspiring sight that left us completely speechless. As if that wasn't enough, we were treated to a delightful surprise on our way back to the harbour — a pod of dolphins making a beautiful appearance to send us off in style! If you're visiting Perth and looking for a truly magical wildlife experience on the water, look no further than Naturalise Charter. 5.00This was a first class experience. Comfortable boat well stocked with complimentary tea, coffee and water. Experienced and friendly staff who responded to customer questions and gave detailed commentary about the whales in the area. We had a fabulous morning out in the Bay Area and had a couple of whale encounters but these were not judged as being close and so we were offered a free trip which could be taken any time up to 2 years in line with company policy. We were flexible in our plans and so returned the following day and had THE BEST experience with great sightings. Fortune that the whales were feeling playful and we witnessed two humpback whales tail slapping and breeching. Obviously this was a lucky trip out but thanks to the company standing firm on their policy wr had this second opportunity. Would highly recommend.

5.00Highly rate this whale watching experience in Augusta. They really want you to see the humpbacks and southern right whales and go out of their way to find them. We also saw dolphins. The boat is really modern, clean, comfortable. The skipper and crew A1+ Would love to do their Orca Killer Whale tour from Bremer Bay next season.

5.00A 2 hour cruise that finished up being nearly 3. We just wouldn't run out of whales from the time we exited the harbour. A well set up comfortable boat with a friendly informative crew. I've been whale watching in Canada/Alaska and Norway with a net sighting of two whales. I gave up counting today's encounters. Lots of blowing and porpoising, fin flapping and a grand finale show of tail slapping. A great trip for half the price of overseas failures.

We were lucky enough to witness a juvenile whale playfully flapping its tail for nearly 10 minutes—an absolutely mesmerizing sight! The onboard marine biologist and crew were fantastic—knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and quick to point out sightings so we didn’t miss a moment. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area!
