Krakow
Your tour begins with transportation from your hotel in Krakow. Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is located in the town Oswiecim, about 1h15min in one way (65km).
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
Your tour begins as you pass through the gate of Auschwitz I – the first camp, established by the Germans in 1940 as a detention site for Polish citizens after the annexation of the country. Above the entrance stands the infamous sign Arbeit Macht Frei (“Work Makes You Free”), one of the most recognizable symbols of the camp. This part of the visit lasts about two hours, with each participant using a headset to follow the guide’s commentary clearly. According to the Museum’s regulations, groups are limited to a maximum of 30 people, ensuring a more personal and accessible experience. During the tour, you will see original wooden barracks, watchtowers, barbed wire fences, as well as gas chambers and crematoria. Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau was one of the most emotional and important experiences of our trip to Poland. Everything was very well organized from start to finish - comfortable transport, clear communication, and a very knowledgeable guide who explained the history in a respectful and engaging way. The tour was deeply moving and gave us a much better understanding of the events that happened there. Our guide shared many details and stories that made the experience even more meaningful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Krakow. A difficult but unforgettable experience.

Paid £209, initially got a message, which stated they would pick us up at 6am, but would text first to let us know they were coming. We waited in the hotel lobby from 5.45 - 6.50 and they didn’t message us or ring the hotel (had both numbers). Missed the trip - whole reason for going and can’t reach anyone for a refund. Really unhappy.

Fatal the organization, first they sell you the most expensive excursion in Spanish and when you arrive at the destination they give it in English, you book the excursion with tickets and guide make you get up at 4:00 to arrive early and stand in line to get the entrance as those who do not carry it a real scam, because there are people who wear it and do not expect queue, which really is what they sell you, and the worst is that until 9:00 they do not open to do the tour, bone that making you get up so early for nothing is a slut and snowing at -2 degrees waiting for a queue of two hours the truth that is not very pleasant, because of this and because the guides are super edges and leave you thrown to the first change inside the tour, I do NOT recommend doing it here. Better to do it for free than in the end it is how you feel there and it costs you 30€ a ticket plus 4€ the train journey that leaves you next door and not 100€ as here. And another thing they don’t sell in English that is cheaper but then they make it in English, they are real fraudsters. RECOMMENDED 0%, really believe me because it is not worth taking out here, BUT IF YOU GO TO Krakow you should visit the attraction.
