We had an amazing experience with Jade. The best way to learn about a city is through it's food, and i definitely walked away with a history lesson, a full stomach and new friends. She was a wonderful tour guide - highly recommended.

Jim was an incredible dude and took us to places we never would’ve found without the tour. I’ve been to over 80 countries and this was the best food tour I’ve ever done!

I had a great tour with Nico. She took her group to some really good restaurants and eateries that I would never have found without her. She was really helpful and kind and knowledgeable about the culture and cuisine. Very glad I took her tour and saw another side of Shanghai. We were very well fed at each stop and the tour was definitely worth the price.

I wanted to find a few good and reliable places to frequent for food during my stay in Shanghai and I thought doing a food tour would be the perfect way to do that. I was not wrong. The tour with Jim was wonderful and he took us to many places I never would have found on my own! Highly recommend if you're in Shanghai and want to get away from the tourist traps and have an experience curated by a guide who has spent years building personal relationships with the many local vendors. The tour takes the full amount of time and involves covering some distance on foot (always the best way to see a city). But if you're worried about all the walking, don't, Jim checks in regularly and the pacing is not strenuous. 10/10 would recommend. I just wish there was a Jim in every city I visit 😆

I loved the informality of this delicious walking tour -- and that we went to places which I didn't know about and may now have gone on my own. It was reasonably priced as I recall; but we went to at least six or seven eateries and tried some very different local Shanghai food, including a wide range of wonderful dumplings There were just 6 of us and I enjoyed meeting the others.
