To my surprise, I was the only one on the tour. Thankfully Kai was great to customise things a little bit for me; the cultural center is a real treat, make sure to visit car museum in the basement full of classics. The oil fields and fortress are very eye opening and town was very pretty to experience, so many interesting stories around the place. Would recommend

This was an absolutely incredible tour that showcases the many different faces of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula! We started with a photo stop outside the Heydar Aliyev Center, and seeing Zaha Hadid’s flowing, wave-like architecture in person is a must—the building looks surreal from the outside! Next, we went to Ramana Tower, a majestic medieval fortress on a hill that offered amazing panoramic views of the surrounding area and local oil fields. The real surprise of the day was Balakhani. It’s a historic oil settlement that has been turned into a beautiful, vibrant eco-village. Walking through the spotlessly clean streets lined with pastel-colored houses, murals, and hanging flowers felt like wandering through a hidden Mediterranean oasis. Finally, we wrapped up at Yanardag to see the eternal burning mountain. Standing next to natural flames that have been blazing out of the hillside for centuries was the perfect way to finish a tour in the 'Land of Fire'. Our guide was fantastic and full of great historical facts. Highly recommended!

This tour was a real journey for me through different eras of Azerbaijan. In a few hours, Baku was able to see all sorts of things: from the ultra-modern Heydar Aliyev Centre, which impresses with its futuristic architecture, to the medieval Raman Castle, which preserves the spirit of ancient history. A visit to Balahana was particularly interesting. Once one of the centers of the oil boom, the place where the history of world oil production began, today it is a cozy and colorful tourist location with atmospheric streets, bright houses and beautiful art objects. It was amazing to see how the former oil workers' village had become one of the most photogenic places near Baku. Oilfields with working rockers were equally impressive, a true symbol of the black gold era that changed the fate of Azerbaijan. And the end of the journey was Yanardag, a legendary burning mountain where fire bursts straight out of the ground. Standing before this natural miracle, you inadvertently remember why Azerbaijan is called the Land of Lights. The tour was very rich, informative and varied. It allows you to see the history of the country from ancient times to modern times and to take a fresh look at Baku and its surroundings. Highly recommended!

It was interesting to see a very different side of Baku - the colorful streets of Balahana, the historic fortress in Raman and the famous burning mountain Yanardag. The route is well thought out, each stop is unique. The guide made the trip even more exciting with interesting stories and facts.

Balachans are a delight! The streets are insanely beautiful, bright, flowers everywhere and cool graffiti - Instagram locations here are literally at every turn. At the same time, the place has not lost its flavor: the locals are very friendly, the atmosphere is as cozy and welcoming as possible.
