What To Expect
Karurusu Onsen
We will drive from Noboribetsu to here and then get ready for snowshoeing. After a short demonstration on how to use the snowshoes and poles, we will start our snowshoe activity.
Your guide will then lead you through snow-covered forests as we make our way towards the ice cave. Along the way you will cross snow bridges and some small streams. Your guide will demonstrate how to safely cross and what techniques to use. We will also have regular breaks where you can have a rest and enjoy the stunning winter landscape.

5.00We had a wonderful snowshoeing experience! Aidan is a fantastic and personable guide. He taught us how to snowshoe safely and the trek was light challenging and gorgeous. The cave is amazing. Well worth it!
