We loved our experience! Our guide was Will and he did a great job! He was very helpful and kind throughout the whole experience. He was very knowledgeable about Banff including names of mountains, wildlife, and culture. He made sure we were doing well throughout the entire trip and even took photos for us. He made our trip so much fun! We got to see so many beautiful sights and experience Banff from a different perspective. I was worried it would be difficult to paddle, but it wasn’t! Very relaxing and enjoyable. Be sure to bring a change of clothes because our legs did get wet from the paddle.

We had a fabulous experience kayaking with Claire. She shared wonderful knowledge of the park and area. We saw some beautiful birds and the natural beauty is breathtaking. Highly recommend taking a guided experience over the hourly rental. Claire’s commentary added so much for us.

It was our first time kayaking, and it turned out to be an amazing experience! We arrived about 20 minutes late because of the half marathon event in town, but the Banff Canoe Club team was incredibly accommodating and understanding. Our guide, Corey, was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the trip. With a group of six, he made sure everyone felt comfortable, included, and well taken care of. His guidance and positive attitude made the experience even more enjoyable. As a bonus, we even saw a beaver and a mother duck with her ducklings! We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Banff.

Had a great time! So many activities in Banff were overcrowded. Kayaking was lovely. We had a small group. Cam (our guide) was awesome. Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience with our guide Abbey! Floating down the glassy waters on the Vermillion lake surrounded by the mountains was really calming. We were not the best at kayaking straight but the pace was very managable, and the portage over a beaver dam was very smooth with Abbey's help. Highly recommended!
