What To Expect

The Basic Drill is the perfect introduction to the world of tactical training — combining safety, strategy, and immersive fun in one unforgettable experience. Start with professional coaching on handgun handling and firearm safety, then test your skills on our simulated shooting range using realistic, non-lethal equipment. You’ll try techniques that traditional ranges don’t allow — like drawing from a holster, angled shooting, and engaging targets on the move. Next, apply what you've learned in one of our hyper-realistic scenarios that puts your decision-making to the test. Identify threats, use cover, and communicate effectively with your partner — all while under pressure. You’ll also run our Competition Course, where you'll take down targets and navigate obstacles for speed and accuracy! Between scenarios, you’ll learn practical, life-saving skills like how to disarm a threat or apply a tourniquet. This is a limited selection of DTAC’s full offerings — perfect for first-timers, casual thrill-seekers, and anyone curious about tactical experiences without live fire, VR gear, or projectiles.

5.00We were multi-generational group (age 22 - 86) we had a great time with Shayla. She was so patient, fun and an exceptional teacher. We had a disabled person in the group and she made sure to make accommodations so they weren’t left out of anything . She also took it upon herself to push the wheelchair around so we could all enjoy the experience. We all had a great time and will be back.

5.00This was a great experience for novices and pros in a simulated environment. If you’re not comfortable with handling a real gun, this is a good way of getting tactical skills in without being fearful of handling real guns. Our 10 year old also was with us and enjoyed the experience (initially was nervous, but was fine after the first scenario). We decided to upgrade and take advantage of one of the package deals. Also, shout-out to Scott (awesome instructor); the food & drinks were good, too!
