The Palace Museum
After Tian'anmen Square, you will walk to your next stop, The Forbidden City, known as the "Palace Museum" in modern China, is an iconic cultural landmark situated in the heart of Beijing. Built during the Ming Dynasty in the early 15th century, it served as the imperial palace for over 500 years, housing Chinese emperors and their households. 5.00We took the tour with our guide Alima, who speaks very good Spanish. She was very kind and patient, in addition to explaining all the attractions we visited and answering our questions. The places are truly impressive; the Great Wall leaves you in awe, the Temple of Heaven is a work of astonishing engineering and precision, and the Forbidden City is imposing. A happy way to admire this great country.

5.00We did the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square tour one day, and the Great Wall tour the following day, and I honestly could not be more satisfied with the experience. Our guide, Kelly, was outstanding. She was always attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and struck the perfect balance between giving us space to enjoy the experience while also being extremely helpful and available whenever needed. She was also very flexible and adapted plans on short notice based on our preferences, which made everything feel effortless and personalized. The driver was excellent as well — very professional, the car was spotless and comfortable, and everything ran perfectly smoothly. Everyone was incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire experience. It was me and two friends, and Kelly was fluent in both English and Portuguese, which made communication even easier for us. I would recommend this 100%. It truly elevated and transformed our experience in Beijing.
