What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
Hotel pick-up at your downtown hotel lobby. We will then drive directly to the Mutianyu Great Wall, famous for its stunning natural scenery—lush forests and vibrant landscapes that transform beautifully with each season. Located in Huairou District, northeast of Beijing, this section is approximately 75 kilometers from the city center. As one of the best‑preserved and most picturesque sections of the Great Wall, Mutianyu historically served as a vital northern defensive barrier protecting the capital. You may take the cable car up to the wall. You can choose to hike along the wall to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, or take the cable car down or Chairlift up and toboggan ride for a fun and memorable descent. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

By Taxi: Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center, 50 Liangmaqiao Road By Subway: Take Line 10 to Liangmaqiao Station (Exit C). Walk 300m (3 mins) to the hotel entrance. Approximately 12 people: Please make your own way to the meeting point. No need to provide your hotel information. Meeting time: 7:30am.: Please arrive 5 minutes early. By Taxi: Regent Beijing Hotel, 99 Jinbao Street, near Wangfujing. By Subway: Take Line 5 to Dengshikou Station (Exit C). Walk 50m (1 min) to the hotel entrance. Her English is first class and she is very friendly. The wall itself is a great spectacle. Well worth the trip and I would highly recommend Lucy and her company for your booking.

5.00Very easy pickup at our hotel, interesting information and history provided by the guide Lucy, who also made sure to look after my pregnant wife throughout the trip. The wall was amazing, and plenty of time for food drinks shopping afterwards. Would recommend, Thankyou Lucy

5.00This was a great trip! Lucy was very helpful in navigating us to the wall and gave us a lot of fun facts along the way. It’s nice this tour goes earlier in the morning and avoids the crowds. We had ~2.5 hours of self exploration.

5.00We were a little nervous, as nobody in our group speaks Chinese but Wendy was really fun and kept an eye on us. Her English is immaculate. The Wall is naturally amazing and well run. Go in the morning and it’s still very quiet.
