Experience the vibrant nightlife of Beppu in this guided sake-tasting & bar-hopping tour. Starting with a sake-tasting experience at Space Beppu - a renovated century-old Japanese house & community space, you'll then move on to two further 'izakaya' (bars), where you'll be able to immerse yourself in the quirky alleys of Beppu's 'shitamachi' (downtown) area. With your guide, you'll be able to communicate with locals seamlessly without having to worry about those daunting hand-written Japanese menus!

5.00It was a really nice experience. We had the chance to try different sake flavors and discover interesting local izakayas. It's a good opportunity to experience Beppu's local culture, especially for those who don't really speak Japanese.

5.00This was an amazing experience, my friends and I (group of 4) had great fun. Our host, Yuna, was a wonderful person, with rich experience in local history. I loved the Izakaya we went to, very local vibes, great cuisine and friendly host too. Overall I'd definitely recommend this tour if you're interested in more local experience !

5.00Very very nice experience!!! I learned a lot of Japanese sake and tried them with very good food!! Also we went to this very old traditional Japanese izakaya! The food is amazing and very local!!! Our tour guide Yuna is very knowledgeable and sweet girl, very very helpful! Overall, I love this trip!!! 10/10!!!
