What To Expect
We meet in the old center of Puerto Vallarta and we take a public bus to Mismaloya, a beautiful town 25 minutes south of Vallarta. At the beach we embark the boat to start our journey to Los Arcos: 5 impressive islands in a protected natural area and a sanctuary for birds! In the caves we will learn about the fauna of the natural reserve, among others the great variety of birds who nest on the islands. Afterwards, the captain will take us to a special and safe area where we can snorkel and learn about the great variety of marine fauna that inhabits the coral. Before returning to Vallarta we take you to an iconic place in the history of the city. *Some days the visibility and currents in the water can vary and may affect the amount of fish we can spot. **Min age: 5 yrs/max: 70 yrs ***Cruise ship passengers: take into account possible time difference between LOCAL time vs BOAT time!

Amazing Guide, Gorgeous Views, and a Memorable Day

5.00We had such a wonderful experience on this tour! My friend and I took a quick ride to the beautiful Romantic Zone in Old Town Puerto Vallarta, where our meeting point was conveniently located right outside a convenience store. We were greeted by our guide, quickly boarded a bus, and were taken to the port to begin our adventure. The boat ride was absolutely stunning with great views. Along the way, Sebastian shared interesting facts about the local birds, wildlife, and history. It was informative, engaging, and added to the experience without taking away from the incredible scenery. After snorkeling in the crystal-clear water, we had about an hour to explore the village of Mismaloya. We enjoyed delicious food and refreshing drinks right on the beach while soaking in the views. The only downside was that there were quite a few vendors on the beach trying to sell souvenirs, which could feel a little overwhelming at times. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Sebastian was friendly, helpful, and even made sure we knew how to get back into town afterward. Overall, this was a memorable experience with beautiful scenery, great snorkeling, and excellent service.

5.00Our guide Guillermo was excellent. His translation skills are great. He was friendly and gave us good information. Guillermo made us feel very comfortable. He was very attentive to us while in the water as well. The water was so refreshing and we saw a lot of different interesting fishes I had not seen before and I’ve been snorkeling many times before. This tour starts by meeting in front of OXXO, their we met Guillermo. Then we took the public bus to Mismoloya Beach where Guillermo stayed with us the whole time. I definitely recommend this tour.

5.00The tour and the snorkeling were good. We saw many different fish, and Sebastián told us quite a bit about the area. Since we already had experience, he let us explore on our own and at our own pace if we wanted, but he helped the other couple who had not done snorkeling before. Thank you very much, Sebastián!
