London – Cambridge – York

9:00 AM: Private pickup from your London hotel, airport, or station. (Recommend arrival by 9:00 AM train or 8:00 AM flight to maximize tour time). Depart for the world-renowned University of Cambridge. Explore its 31 historic colleges, serene waterways, and profound academic atmosphere. Highlights: St. Mary the Great: Visit the historic university church. King’s College (Admission Included): Marvel at iconic Gothic architecture. Trinity College: Exterior view of this prestigious institution. Bridge of Sighs & Corpus Clock: Admire these famous landmarks. Xu Zhimo Memorial: Visit the monument dedicated to the legendary poet. River Cam Punting (Complimentary): Enjoy a traditional punting tour through the "gentle waves of the Cam," blending history with natural beauty. Late Afternoon: Transfer to the historic town of York.

York – Edinburgh

After breakfast, visit the historic and commercially vibrant town of York. Explore York Minster (*admission included) and the world’s largest railway museum, the National Railway Museum (free entry). In the afternoon, stroll along The Shambles, the filming inspiration for “Diagon Alley” in the Harry Potter film series. You may also enjoy some free time to visit Bettys Café Tea Rooms for a classic British afternoon tea. Renowned as one of the finest tea rooms in northern England and the most popular dining spot in York, it has even been visited by the British monarch. (There are two Bettys locations in York, and the queue may take around one hour.) Afterwards, continue to Edinburgh for an overnight stay.

Edinburgh – Glasgow

Edinburgh is not only the capital of Scotland, but also its foremost cultural and historical center as well as a premier tourist destination. Elegant and full of character, the city resembles a well-traveled elder—refined in appearance and eloquent in manner—whose dignified charm is truly captivating. Visit Edinburgh Castle (*admission included), then explore along the Royal Mile, passing by The Elephant House, where J. K. Rowling famously worked on the globally acclaimed Harry Potter series. Stroll along Princes Street and take a relaxing break at Princes Street Gardens. Finally, head to Calton Hill for a panoramic view over the city. After the tour, proceed to Glasgow for hotel check-in.

Edinburgh – Windermere – Manchester

Windermere

After breakfast, we head south into the Lake District National Park. The towns of Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere are closely connected and stretch along the lakeshore, where you will have free time to explore at your leisure. Enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Windermere (*included), gliding across the shimmering waters while taking in the stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. You will also experience a heritage steam train (*included), offering a nostalgic journey reminiscent of the 17th century. The Lake District is also the home of Peter Rabbit. If interested, you may visit The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction (photo stop), stepping into a magical world straight out of the storybooks.

Afterwards, continue to Manchester. Visit Manchester Town Hall and Albert Square, and stop for an exterior visit of Old Trafford Stadium. Overnight in Manchester.

Then continue to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of the great playwright William Shakespeare. This charming town is a classic example of an English market town, with well-preserved historic streets and houses.
