Darwin
The streets of Darwin CBD are home to many buildings that have connections to Darwin's past and many are still in use today. Stories of the past and the people who ensured Darwin became an important part of current day Northern Territory are aplenty. Public artworks dot the route.
Star Village
This former open-air cinema is one of the few original buildings from pre-Cyclone Tracy. Though it has been converted to a chic retail hub, your guide will point out its historic features and share with you its stories of old.

A terrific 2 hour tour, very informative, with interesting stories. We had walked some of the streets as tourists but this gave us so many insights into things we either didn't notice, or had seen but didn't know heir significance.

Our guide Linda, was super knowledgeable about the history of Darwin. The walk itself was a pleasant stroll throughout the city, with lots of shade. I would highly recommend this walk.

A terrific guide ( Linda) who gave plenty of interesting information. The pace of the walk was just right. I was pleasantly surprised that we could look inside the parliament building.

I found that the guide had excellent knowledge on both Darwin and the development of the Northern Territory. I was totally enthrowled by the level of detail and the local landmarks and artifacts throughout the citys built and natural environment.

First time visiting Darwin. We did this walk on our last day having done the WWII Bombing of Darwin tour earlier in the week. They complemented each other. The walk around the charming and historical civic area added another layer of history and then to top it off we got a brief tour of Parliament House because there was such a small group. Thank you, Linda for a pleasant and informative morning.
