First and foremost I must acknowledge the kitchen and wait staff for being absolutely fantastic with our food allergies. One of our family members has a very serious nut allergy and we were concerned how this would be handled, especially given the language barrier. It was taken very seriously and we had wonderful meals. Accommodations were basic but comfortable and very clean. We opted for a cheaper with bathroom and this was a great choice for us. The rafting itself was pleasant and very beautiful, but not terribly thrilling. The rapid sections were not long and quite mild. It was still worth going, but don’t expect a lot of thrills. Finally our boat guide was quite grumpy and not particularly into actually participating in the rafting. He just shouted orders at us about which way to row and how fast. We were the first boat to get back, by far! We opted not to stay for a second day of rafting. Overall, we would recommend this experience. Hopefully you just get a better guide!

14 of us were divided into 3 boats even though it was not an agreement, so me and two colleagues sat with unknown people and in the end there were 10 of us in the boat and one person had to sit in the middle and could not row! The skipper and that other team got so drunk that they fell out of the boat, we had to stop several times to defecate and they couldn't row, so we were 2 hours late in our return. Our colleagues were already worried waiting and we were late in returning home. Very unprofessional and dangerous and as I can see from old comments it is clearly a practice among skippers!

Very beautiful place with amazing nature. It green and fresh everywhere ans the river has the most amazing color! The houses are really small but you have bathroom with toilet in it. Than staff and the food is very good but menu is with too much meat - have it in mind. Rafting it self on this amazing plase is great adventure and memory for a life! Highly recommended!

Used the services of the Rafting Center Drina-Tara and were very pleased! July 2022. Day for Rafting. A family with two teenage children. All preliminary communication with Borko on WhatsApp - answered quickly, clearly, on the case. Rafting was booked by phone (no payment was made in advance). Came in their rental car from a hotel in Tjentiste (Tjentiste). There's a lot of feedback online about the bad road - but it's absolutely fine. The hotel is 40 km from the rafting centre (43.368842 18.7957876). Most of the road is a nice, paved road. The last part of the journey (about 8 km.) is a gravel road, but it is flat and easy to pass in a normal car. It took us 1.2 hours to get there. When we arrived at the rafting center by 10:00, first there was breakfast (local Balkan food) in a cafe overlooking the Drina River. We refused breakfast because we had breakfast at the hotel. I regret it now because the food looked delicious. Then they gave everyone helmets, life jackets, neoprene shoes. We changed into clothes we planned to raft in (our clothes were left in our car in the parking lot next to the rafting cetr). There are comfortable changing booths, showers, toilets. Everything happened calmly, without haste, but on a clear schedule. Split into groups and driven in jeeps to the rafting ground. Our driver was a rush, driving very fast on a bad mountain narrow road, but neat. In the Jeep, it was fun to jump on pinwheels. It took exactly 1 hour. On the riverbank, the instructors gave instructions on what to do, how to respond to commands and placed them in rafts, issued oars. It was very beautiful and very nice to raft! The water is turquoise-turquoise, clear, and very cold. In some places, the river flows through a deep canyon with high mountain walls. I advise you to take waterproof clear bags for phones or a GoPro camera, because the views are very beautiful and you will want to take a lot of pictures! The alloy itself is absolutely not heavy or dangerous (our rafting had a family with children aged 5-7, other rafts also had children). There were no heavy thresholds at all. Sometimes I even wished it was a little more extreme:)) During the rafting, there was a break during which all the rafts were moored, where there was a cafe - snacks, water, beer, juices (for an additional fee). Immediately, there was an icy waterfall to swim in. On the opposite bank, there were tall rocks from which to dive into the water. After the café, we continued our rafting. The whole alloy took approximately 4-4.5 hours. (about 20 km). At the rafting center, lunch was waiting. Very delicious chorba soup, huge pan of meat and potatoes, desserts (all included in the price). We really, really enjoyed it!

We loved it . I went with my parents and the whole experience was enjoyable for everyone. The accommodation was great and unique, the food was incredible, the tour guides were very nice and the landscape was beautiful. Rafting was so fun, I would love to do it again. I think it’s suitable for anyone who loves active holidays!

We did whitewater rafting here in 2019 and came back this year. What a change! The place expanded greatly and now caters to big groups and party-ers too If you want a quieter time, at least try and book during weekdays Despite not being the quiet place we loved anymore, we can agree that the accomodations are very good and varied, there is for everyone. We slept in the quiet and the food is still amazing and the portions, always generous. The activities are great. Our instructor for rafting was Mile, who did an excellent job in guidance, we all felt safe and had tons of fun thx to him

We visited Drina-Tara Rafting center as a group of friends on a 2-day package (rafting and jeep safari). The river and the nature are amazing. Rafting was exciting however not so extreme as we thought it will be. Staff is very helpful and I don't have any remarks on the organization. Food was good - tasty and varied and more than sufficient. Accommodation is fine. It's not a luxury but clean and comfortable. One really small remark the rakija was not so good as expected for such rakija experts like our group :) Overall - it was really great and we had a lot of fun. Hope to be back one day.

Idyllic place. Ideal for those looking for peace and relaxation by day and a little joy at night. Great food and even exceeds all expectations. Service from the excellent staff. You sit at the table and have the menu, even before the drink. At night live music and fireworks. The very fun rafting activity. The only negative, a lot of noise at night from young people staying and still marching.

The experience was great. We would have come in May/June, where the river is more agitated and therefore more extreme sensations. In August, the rafting is quiet but the Mood is great. If you can, stay overnight even if it’s rustic. The food is local and excellent and again: the Mood is great! Beer lovers: Cheers!
