Lucas was a great tour guide and gave us lots of information about the war and the sites we were seeing. We highly recommend this tour!

Gives a great insight into the monumental effort required to launch an invasion being mindful of minimising casualties.

We had a great day, Laureen was very knowledgeable. It would have been nice to stop a see a little more, so you would need to do the day trip and not the half day tour

Great short excursion into 2 of the d'day sectors, was great to learn some of the important areas of d'day. Unfortunately I don't remember our local guide but she was amaizing, bubbly and made the tour

Very informative, relatively short tour giving insight into key portions of the D-Day landings. Not for someone wanting a deep dive into the event, but excellent for a half-day overview with a well-informed guide showing you critical aspects of the event. Our tour guide Axelle was fantastic: passionate, interesting, and informative!

Definitely worthwhile. First off - the service. We had challenges with trains and luggage getting to Bayeaux and they saved the day last minute by taking our luggage in the tour van. Then after they made a special trip to drop off us with luggage at our hotel which was amazing. It really saved our day. In terms of the tour I really appreciated seeing and hearing about some of the less considered parts of d day like the logistics. We all know the famous beach stories - and it’s amazing to see Omaha - but I feel like I got a lot more appreciation of the whole operation. Plus our guide really focused on the human factor - the loss of life and huge impacts - on both the soldiers and the French. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone. I will advise that coming to Bayeaux in the morning without any place to leave your luggage will make the day harder. There are luggage storage places but they take lunch beaks from 12-2. So make sure you have a plan for luggage or come the day before so you can have a stress free day.

Our guide was Matt and he was very informative and had a personal connection to D-Day through his grandfather. He has done much research and was full of factual info and include lots of pictures in a folder. We had a small group of 8 in a very comfortable van. Highly recommend this tour company

Mathieu was very informational and friendly. We were given about 20 minutes to walk around and explore at each stop, 30 minutes at the American Soldier Cemetery. It gets cool and windy by the sea, jackets are suggested in the spring.

Matthew was a great tour guide! His knowledge of and respect for the events of D-Day made the tour wonderful. I do wish we would have had a little more time at a couple of the sights but that is to be exii of expected when you do a half day tour. My only recommendation is to do a whole day tour if you can. This tour was excellent for our situation!
