Pashupatinath Temple

Pashupatinath Temple is a sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu. Swayambhunath Stupa is an ancient Buddhist monument, believed to be over 2,000 years old, perched on a hill about 2 km west of Kathmandu. Overlooking the Kathmandu Valley, it is one of Nepal’s oldest and most revered religious sites. The stupa is popularly known as the “Monkey Temple” due to the large population of monkeys inhabiting the area.

Patan Durbar Square

Patan Durbar Square, located about 5 km southeast of Kathmandu in Lalitpur, is famous for its exquisite Newari architecture. Originally a royal palace complex of the Malla kings, it features ornate courtyards, pagoda-style temples, and over 1,200 monuments showcasing exceptional wood, stone, and metal craftsmanship.

Once the royal seat of the Malla and Shah kings, it features exquisite Newar architecture, including intricately carved wooden temples, courtyards, and statues. Nyatapola Temple
