What To Expect
Firostefani
Firostefani is located north of Fira. It used to be a separate settlement but today it is considered part of the capital. Its name can be translated as " The Crown of Fira" because of its position on the highest part of Fira. Firostefani provides breathtaking views over the capital, the sea and the volcano. In this traditional village there are a few cozy restaurants, cafes, some shops and a mini market. It also offers some of the most impressive hotels of Santorini and some traditional rooms where you can combine serenity and relaxation with a vivid nightlife.
Oia
Oia,which is mentioned in various travel reports,is a scenic village on the north west edge of the Santorini island. It extends for almost 2km (1.2 miles) along the northern edge of the Caldera that forms the island of Santorini,at a height of between 70 and 100m (230 and 330 feet) above sea level. It is built on the steep slope of the Caldera and the houses and restaurants are built into niches carved into the Caldera on the seawood side. There are 300 steps down to the port from Oia. There are narrow passageways and a central square. The surroundings of the town have a complex of white washed , blue domed churches and charming traditional Cycladic houses. It is set in a location which provides excellent views of the sunset over the Caldera

5.00The insight of a private tour guide is the best! Locations and sights we wouldn't know of to ask for made this invaluable. Our guide, Petros, knows what he's talking about. His experience with tours, and great personality made time fly. We chose 5 hours, which gave us time to see about 2/3 of santorini. We only missed Oja at the tip, but as explained, between high tourist season and drive time, it could have taken 2 hours of our time. He picked out our restaurant at the end of the tour - Santorinia -and we had fried tomatoes, pita and saganaki.... highly recommend it!!!! Happy name day to petros and thanks for a great day!!!

5.00Our tour of Santorini with Dimitris was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we met him, he treated us like family rather than tourists. He was kind, patient, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive to every detail, making sure our day was tailored exactly to what we wanted to see and experience. Nothing ever felt rushed, and he went above and beyond to accommodate our needs throughout the day. What made Dimitris so special wasn’t just his knowledge of Santorini, though he certainly shared fascinating insights and stories. It was his wisdom, warmth, and genuine joy for life. The conversation flowed effortlessly, covering everything from the island’s history to life, family, faith, and culture. He has the rare gift of making you feel completely comfortable, as if you’ve known him for years. And somehow, he seemed to know every hidden corner of the island. While other tourists were standing in line for at least 45 minutes waiting for the perfect photo, Dimitris effortlessly guided us to incredible locations where we captured stunning photos without the crowds. Not only did he know where to go, but he was also an amazing photographer. Our favorite family photos from the entire trip were taken by him. His laugh was absolutely contagious. You couldn’t help but smile when he laughed. The joy he carries is genuine, and it made the entire day feel lighter, richer, and more memorable. Some people leave an impression because of what they do. Dimitris leaves an impression because of who he is. He is one of those rare individuals you only encounter once in a great while—an old soul with a joyful spirit and a wealth of wisdom to share. In a place as beautiful as Santorini, it’s remarkable that one of our favorite memories was the person who showed it to us. Thank you, Dimitris, for a day our family will never forget. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family.

5.00This one of the best most informative and accommodating tour I’ve ever experienced. Petros was such a great tour gutted and so knowledgeable on the history of this island. I highly recommend booking a tour with this company and if you can request Petros you will have the best tour of Santorini! I feel like he showed us so much of the island and I’m very satisfied with the tour. The communication with the company was easy and effortless! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

5.00We took a tour with Petros to see sites away from the Caldera. He arranged for a wonderful trip, accommodating both the adults and a young child. He was knowledgeable about not only Santorini but other islands of the Cyclades in Greek culture in general. He very much entertained our child, showing her the various trees and rocks which she managed to collect souvenirs. He also took us to a nice little winery a wine tasting that was very peaceful and had some great wines. We would highly recommend Petros for a tour.

5.00Petros was the perfect guide. We arranged a sailing excursion that was amazing. He picked the best sailboat and captain. He was perfect with our children. He also showed us around the island. He was friendly and fun to talk to and we loved our time with him. I would highly recommend Petros to anyone looking to make their trip so much more enjoyable.

5.00This was one of our best private tours. Petros took us to all of the best sightseeing spots on the Island. He was also a great photographer and we got great photos. He navigated through the crowds. Had bathroom breaks. Stopped at great bakery for a sampling of some treats. Learned alot about the history and geography. Bought souvenirs along the way. Recommended great restaurant for lunch. We covered most of the Island on this tour. Highly recommend booking this tour. You will not be disappointed. Petros was the best tour guide. Very knowledgeable.
