Experience Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), "Vagabond's cave", old mountain farms, local wildlife, idyllic islands, and majestic scenery. Enjoy magnificent views to the Pulpit Rock, which mounts 604 meters above the fjord. The hiking trip to the top of the Pulpit rock takes about two hours each way. Reaching the Pulpit Rock by foot gives you the opportunity to stand on top of the magnificent mountain hill and see the narrow Lysefjorden below.

We were on the Fjord Cruise to Lysefjord & Preikestolen(Pulpit Rock) with Rodne Fjord Cruise. It was a 3 hour cruise for $84.67pp. The meeting point is very easy to get to from the cruise dock, about a 5 minute walk. You can ride inside or outside the boat. We made a couple of stops to see Vagabond Cave, to feed the goats, to see Pulpit Rock and the Hengjanefossen Waterfall. It was amazing to look up at Pulpit Rock from the fjord and think Tom Cruise climbed this for the movie Mission Impossible, Fallout. It was a beautiful day and the ride was very smooth. The boat has a snack bar and restrooms on board.

Spectacular view. Trip from hellesyt to geiranger with coast cruises. Little time to take pictures in the most scenic spots circe 8 minutes each time

I went with the guide Máximo, very friendly. He looked for me on time at the hotel. At the beginning of the excursion he explained to us very well what it would be like. Very attentive to the needs of the group. He offered to take photos. A very good experience. It is a walk of approximately 45 minutes. The first section is the most complicated, as the guide said. But then not so much. I loved the c hike. And in addition to the appropriate clothing, I also consider that it is better to go with a guide.
