Otherwise, you can choose where to have lunch during the excursion. If you prefer not to stop for lunch, the tour will continue and can end about 1 hour earlier.

The tours usually last 7 hours, but we are flexible with the schedule. A good solution for travelers who want to return to Pico at the end of the tour.

Ramiro was fantastic! Would book with him again in a heartbeat. Very personable and since he grew up on the island knows so much about it and was able to share that information with us along the way. He even took us to a great lunch spot (Restaurante Rumar) and made sure we were back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. I never worried about timing as he had a handle on it! The volcanos and calderas are amazing on Faial - there are so many you really need an island tour to see the full scope!
Greenest and most beautiful island in the Azores? I can't confirm that.

Very knowledgeable guide, Respectful of restrictions and traditions of Faial to protect the environment and culture. We recommend doing this at the beginning of a trip to know what you want to spend more time doing later.

Ramiro was absolutely amazing. We had the best time riding around and seeing the island. Ramiro was so knowledgeable about the area and didn’t hesitate to answer all of our questions. We had a great understanding of what it is like to reside there. It was also very nice to do it privately. Highly recommended!!

We are a group of 8 people, we just joined a full day tour with Ramiro. Ramiro is an outstanding tour guide and driver. He’s very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We had a great time with him. Thank you Ramiro! We loved all the sightseeing places and the buffet lunch.
