Skip the line doesn’t actually mean that you skip the line. It means slight priority entrance. We waited 45 min for a small group (9people) tour of the Uffizi with the wonderful Italian guide Alex. She was great! However the second part of the day with the trip to the museum with David was miserable. We waited outside in line for at least an hour or more. At one point I left, got a sandwich, ate it and came back and continued to wait. There were 19 people in our group—the guide said that the “under 9 participants” only applied to the Uffizi part of the day. She also kept claiming that the waiting “never happens” to which I think…baloney! For about $135 per person, it was not a great value. Having a guide is important and having the guide talking via an earphone is helpful but it’s a total toss of the dice whether you get a good guide or not. The best guide we’ve had so far was the Brazilian Gabrielle who gave the Medici walking tour and provided a ton of info and history while working just for tips!

The tour guide at Uffizi was too educated for that kind of your. She spent 15-20 min on a painting and other tour guides spent 3-4 minutes. She would be a great instructor but to much detail for these yours. We all lost interest quickly, The guide for academia was very good.

Do not miss out on this tour. It's wonderful to experience the David in person. The pictures you see do not do justice to its wonder. The other works of art are a must see at least once in your life

Less than 24 hours before the visit, the time was changed from 10:30 to 11:30, disrupting our whole day's plans. The woman on the phone had so solution or answer. We had to cancel our lunch plans since it was too late to cancel the tour. We did not 'skip the line' We were supposed to start at 11:30 and did not get into security until after 12! Our guide was non engaging and very difficult to understand. We did not exit the museum until after 2 pm and no one gave us any information about where and when to meet at the Accademia. We had no time to eat since we ENTERED the museum 30 minutes after we had planned to be FINISHED. When I asked for a refund first I was told we never showed up! I have since sent time stamped photos and full explanation and I am waiting to hear back about a refund. I have used Viator MANY times and never had an issue like this, I am very disappointed with the response time. I will be contacting my credit card company if I do not get a refund.

The tour was really well organized and the guides were informative as expected. The Uffizi gallery tour started at 10, group guides easy to locate per directions. This museum is tremendously large and we had some time after our tour (1-1.5 hours) to check some things out on our own. The Galleria Academia tour then started at 3 (we didn't realize there would be a gap in time) and went near that location later on. Used the time to get some lunch and spritz. Again easy to locate group guide per directions. Much smaller museum but enjoyed it more - and our guide was fantastic. It is silly to say that one statue is so impressive but it really is worth it!

We were extremly satisfied with our guided tour In Uffizi Galery. Our guide –Irina - took us to extraordinary and incredible world of cinquecento giving us also fascinating background about history of Medici family. She made wonderful analysis of the paintings and showed us the cross-section of Florence art in XV-XVI century. The guided tour with Irina inspired us to read and know more about this magnificent period in history of art and architecture. We would highly recommend Irina as an excellent guide.

This week we (me and my 2 kids, 10 and 8) took the tour at the Uffizi. It was wonderfull! Especially with our guide, Irina. She is a gifted storyteller meanwhile walking us past the crowds and showing us all the masterpieces. She told us the stories of the Medici families like she was part of their history as well, all so livid. Made us want to know much more! Will come back for sure! Thanks again, Irina!
