Secret Lagoon natural hot springs are located in the small village called Fludir and are in the Golden Circle area. We have kept it natural and unique for our guests so they can get the true Icelandic feeling. The pool’s natural surroundings and steam rising into the air gives the place a magical feeling. What better way to view the spectacular light show overhead than relaxing in the pool’s warm water?

Secret Lagoon - Gamla Laugin
Soak in the magical geothermal waters of the Secret Lagoon. The warm water stays at 38-40 Celsius all year. In the whole area, there are several geothermal spots and a little Geysir which erupts every 5 minutes, showing off for the guests relaxing in the hot spring. During winter, the northern lights often give a great light show above Secret Lagoon.

Showers, changing rooms and lockers were very clean. Staff were polite. Really enjoyed this Spa, has an ice pool, and is surround by little geyserwhich is pretty cool. Would recommend to any who wants a less busy choice and far cheaper option than the blue lagoon.

It's was ok about what we expected for what we paid. Purposely picked one of the smaller lagoons so it didn't pack out which was good. Very clean very tidy and well looked after. Worth the money.

We did the Blue Lagoon, the Secret Lagoon, and the Vok Baths on our Iceland trip. We really enjoyed the Secret Lagoon. The water and the environment was really nice...but it is not as expansive as the Blue Lagoon. However, we simply enjoyed the Secret Lagoon more. It was also nice that they had a bathing suit drier....something the Blue Lagoon did not have.

An interesting location nestled among the hot springs near Fludir in Iceland's Golden Circle. Large pool with not too many people so it didn't feel crowded. The temperature was perfect (38-40C) with lots of areas to relax and feel secluded. Surrounded by hot springs (too hot to touch) with a walk way through to see the various bubbling pots and pools. Well stocked shop for snacks and drinks and clean changing rooms and showers with lockers.

Secret lagoon was a very nice, authentic feeling lagoon that offered a football-sized pool of about 100F, with areas of warm and cold. Hot springs nearby that you can walk around to look at, and changing rooms with lockers, showers, hairdryers, etc. Very simple and relaxing. Only thing that might throw people off is that there is a lot of algae around the sides, which I found entertaining but other people may not like the texture of. Otherwise—stick to the middle. No algae there!

The hot spring was alot smaller than it appeared in the information. Water was fine, not to hot. There were to many people in close proximity.

Booked online in case it was too busy to get in. We found it a really relaxing experience. It was interesting to walk around the site first and see the bubbling pools. Beware at certain points at the sides of the pool where the water comes in scalding hot.

Lovely relaxing trip out, we booked 5pm but were running late, we contacted on route and were told not to worry, lovely customer service. On arrival parking is easy and booking in not a problem. You are required to shower naked before entering and the changing rooms are open areas not cubicles. The lagoon was beautiful and being there for sunset was even better and would recommend this slot, around the lagoon are some hot springs which are a brilliant added touch to the experience. We had 3 kids with us who all had a great time although sometimes were a bit hot, so were able to sit on the steps without a problem and dip in and out - our 6 year old struggled the most with this, personally I wouldn’t take children much younger than that for the heat aspect. A really calm environment not over crowded at all, clean and enjoyable experience

This company is amazing. I would certainly travel with them again. The feeling of well being after you get out is priceless.
