Fort Worth Water Gardens
The urban park is frequently billed as a "cooling oasis in the concrete jungle" of downtown. Its focal points are three pools of water and a terraced knoll, which helps to shield the park from the rest of the City. The quiet, blue meditation pool is encircled with cypress trees and towering walls that are covered in thin plane of water that cascades almost 90 degrees down to the sunken blue water feature. The sound of the water on the walls evokes thoughts of a gentle rain shower. The aerating pool features multiple illuminated spray fountains under a canopy of large oak trees. The main attraction of the Water Gardens is the active pool, which has water cascading 38 feet (11 m) down terraces and steps into a small pool at the bottom. The active pool experience was built for people to be able to walk down the terraced steps to be surrounded by and experience the power, sounds and motion of water crashing around them.

5.00I lived in Dallas for 9 years and never really went to Fort Worth or the Stockyards. Dan, our driver, was great on the tour. He gave us the history of the “hell half acre” and how the Fort was established. When went to the stockyards and watched the cattle run. Lots of history. Last, we visited the JFK statue and water gardens. Overall it was great and a nice time with Dan our driver.

5.00I took this tour as a solo traveler and had a great time. Dan was friendly, easy to talk to, and knew a lot about Fort Worth. He shared interesting stories without making it feel like a history lecture, and he kept the group engaged the whole time. The tour was well organized, and I learned a lot while seeing some great spots around the city. I’m really glad I booked it. Thanks, Dan, for making it such an enjoyable experience!
Good time but start from Dallas if possible.

3.00We had a good time and learned quite a bit from our guide Dan. I would suggest getting on in Dallas as we felt we had missed a bit. Dan caught us up. This is primarily a driving tour with the exception of of a couple of short stops and an extended stop in the Stock Yards. We prefer a more detailed linear presentation but it was well worth the cost.
Total waste of 70 minutes of my life !

1.00Well where do I start! I had planned out my last day in Fort Worth starting with a guided tour. Unfortunately I was awoken at 8.00am with a call from the tour company to cancel my morning tour! I was offered another tour at 2.00 pm or carry over to tomorrow. As we leave for Canada first thing in the morning the only alternative was to take the 2.00 pm tour. This really messed my plans for the rest of my days plans. As I was looking forward to hearing all the history of Fort Worth I didn’t want to cancel. Unfortunately I wish I had . When being picked up we were informed that the trip didn’t include the historical Stockyards area! 5 other customers along with us were also under the impression we would be going there . We all felt we were misled! What we did get was a 70 minute drive around downtown with a driver reading from his phone ! This was a dangerous practice! Also the driver whose name was Orlando was very rude when talking about the World Cup and European football fans. As an English football fan I take exception to this! If anyone is thinking of booking the 70 minute tour I would forget it as you would be better off riding the free downtown bus which you can hop on and off and just google information! In fact 70 was too long on the tour so I’m glad I didn’t book for the longer ones. Before I did book I read reviews but now wonder if they are real . On the plus side we did meet some lovely people who were also not happy with what was on offer.

1.00Rip Off. Website itinerary incorrctband misleading. The van picked us upmdrove 4 minites then stopped to pick up Dalaas passengers - in all a total of 20 minutess of actual guided tour. 2 groups of tourists were deceived by the website description.
Overall, William our tour guide, provided an excellent tour of downtown Fort Worh and The Stockyards. Best tour ever!

5.00William provided a great tour of Fort Worth and The Stockyards. William was very knowledgeable on the history of downtown Fort Worth. We made multiple stops that were fascinating like the Waterpark and the hotel where President Kennedy had stayed in Fort Worth prior to the day of his assassination in Dsllas. I managed to visit the American Experience Museum where I was able to view the John Wayne exhibit. I managed to see the long horn cattle drive at The Stockyards. Best tour ever. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone.

4.00Great location for Stockyard. They don’t do any evening meals. And there was limited space at breakfast. However staff were good room clean. There are obviously lots of places to go and eat. So would def recommend

5.00The guide was very knowledgeable, and funny. We were picked up at JFK Plaza and we went to Fort Worth. We did a tour of the town and then went to the stockyard. Watched the cattle drive down a brick street. The cattle were huge.
