The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum recommends this tour for guests aged 14+. Parents are responsible for assessing their child's readiness.
What To Expect
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
The driver will pick you up from the place of your choice. After approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive you will arrive in Oswiecim. After a short break you’ll begin the first part of your visit. It will last about 2 hours. Then, after a few minutes of free time, you’ll be taken by your driver to visit the second part of the museum - Birkenau. In Birkenau the tour usually lasts about 1 hour. The driver will then take you back to Krakow. Please note that the pickup time may change due to the availability of guides at the museum. The exact pickup time will be provided the day before the tour.

5.00We had a private driver to and from Auschwitz as well as private guide. Janek our driver and Cecilia our guide were both very professional and engaging. Driver picked up at hotel and returned to hotel although if we had wanted a different drop off he could have accommodated. Very moving experience. Highly recommend

4.00Janek, the driver and tour operator was great. He was pleasant and informative. My only issue was the tour I signed up for had a start time of 8 am. Apparently, that is the time the tour in Auschwitz begins, not the pick up time which is 2 hours before. Then, the day before I got a message that the time was changed to 7:30 am and the pick up time was 5:30 am. We were not prepared to be ready so early in the morning. Other than that, everything was fine, except being quite expensive.

A special thank you to Inga, who was an incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and friendly driver throughout the afternoon. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we were picked up, ensured everything ran smoothly, and was always happy to help with any questions or requests.
