Very knowledgeable, friendly tour guide. We were very happy about the tour- we learned much about the D Day and battles in the area. It was an unusually (90 deg) hot day and yet our guide remained pleasant and helpful all day without losing his smile- I was appreciative and impressed. Also, it was such a value for the private tour. Highly recommend to all.

Our full-day guided tour in Normandy with Louis Vigor was outstanding from start to finish. He met us promptly at 9:00 a.m., and his car was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a day of exploring. True to the description on his website, Louis took us to all the key sites, including the war memorials, German bunkers, Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, and both the American and German cemeteries, etc. At each stop, he provided clear, detailed explanations that brought the history to life. What made the experience especially meaningful were the personal anecdotes he shared about his grandfather, who lived in Normandy during the occupation—these stories added a powerful and human perspective to everything we saw. Louis’s knowledge of World War II history is extensive, and he encouraged questions throughout the day, answering each one thoughtfully and thoroughly. He is engaging, insightful, and truly fascinating to listen to—we all came away having learned so much. I highly recommend Louis as a guide for anyone visiting Normandy.

Louis from Normandy chronicles was absolutely first class. A charming personable young man who put us completely at ease from the word go. We were fortunate to have him all to ourselves all day in his private car. Which was brand new extremely comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. He was very informative and knowledgeable. He gave context to each stage of the tour, having lived his whole life in Normandy made it very real and enjoyable. His English is superb. His ability to answer our questions, allow free photo taking and time to ourselves was the highlight of the day. We never felt rushed. What was also special was the trip the German cemetery, At the end of the day he dropped us right outside our hotel. We are so glad we chose this guide. We thoroughly recommend you to him. You won't be disappointed. Our memories will last long. Thanks to you.
