Experience a real African safari from Zanzibar in just one unforgettable day. Your adventure begins with an early hotel pickup (if selected) around 6:00 AM, followed by a scenic flight at 7:00 AM to Mikumi National Park, often called the “Mini Serengeti.”
Arriving at 8:00 AM, you'll meet your professional guide and set off in a specially designed 4x4 safari vehicle with a small group of up to six guests. During morning and afternoon game drives, look for elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and, with a bit of luck, even a leopard.
Enjoy a buffet lunch inside the park around 12:00–1:00 PM before continuing your wildlife adventure. Around 3:00–4:00 PM, return to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, arriving around 5:00 PM, with hotel drop-off (if selected) by approximately 6:00 PM.
All flights, park fees, guiding, lunch, drinks, and selected hotel transfers are included.

Mikumi National Park
Experience an authentic African safari in Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich destinations and often called the “Mini Serengeti.” During your game drive, you'll have the chance to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and many other animals in their natural habitat while exploring the park’s vast open plains and beautiful landscapes with an experienced safari guide.

5.00We had the most incredible safari experience and cannot recommend it more highly if you find yourself in Tanzania. Staying in Zanzibar, Ocean Blue organised every aspect from collecting us from our hotel to the flights, transfers, food and safari day. Our tour guide was incredible, so warm, welcoming and knowledgable and allowed us to have the most up close and sensational experiences with the animals. A once in a lifetime experience that we cannot recommend more highly! 5****

5.00We had an amazing experience with Ocean Blue! We booked four different tours: a snorkeling tour, quad tour, dolphin tour, and safari. Everything was very well organized, and we always felt that everything was taken care of from start to finish. The pickup times were on point, and each tour exceeded our expectations in its own way. The guides were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the experiences both fun and safe. We can honestly say that every tour was worth it, and Ocean Blue played a big role in making our holiday unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Zanzibar and wanting high-quality experiences.

5.00We booked a last minute one day safari, and if I’m perfectly honest I was worried a day wouldn’t be enough. But it absolutely was. We saw lions - we were so close we could have reached out and pet them (but obviously we didn’t), and elephants and wild beasts and warthogs and giraffes and zebras and so much more … and we saw all of that before lunch time. I cannot recommend this enough - truly an incredible experience and amazingly we were back at the hotel by 6pm.

5.00This trip was so unique! Loved it since the beginning and the plane experience? It was amazing! We were so lucky to see baby lions with mom and lots of other animals (elephants, giraffes, monkeys) we had a great lunch and everything was perfect. Thank you!!
