What To Expect
Mehrangarh is one of the most spectacular forts in India. It is perched in an impregnable rock at 120 metres above the ground. It was built in 1438 by Rao Jodha, the founder of the city of Jodhpur. Some scenes in the Hollywood movie “The Dark Knight Rises” were shot in this fort!
Jaswant Thada
This memorial for Rajput community is made of white marble. This cenotaph was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sardar Singh in the memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, the 33rd Rathore ruler of Jodhpur. The paintings and portraits inside tell the story of the rulers of Jodhpur.

5.00We had a free day after a wedding and it was our first visit to Rajasthan. 5 Senses tours did an outstanding job in organising the city tour. We had a really fulfilling day visiting monuments, meeting people and enjoying local food. The desert park was a novel concept and we were also impressed with the majestic fort. This is a great way to get introduced to indian culture.

5.00Finally I made it to jodhpur the blue city! 5 senses tours did a magnificent job of curating this tour. I very much enjoyed the Mehrangarh fort and views of the blue city from above. The car, driver and guide were all wonderful. They made the day a memorable one.
