We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Galway Food Tours! The variety of food and drinks was outstanding, giving us a wonderful taste of Galway's food scene while introducing us to places we may not have found on our own. We especially enjoyed learning about farming in Ireland and the farm to fork scene. The team was also excellent at accommodating a food intolerance to oysters and mussels, which made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Our guide, Danny, was truly exceptional. As a local, he shared so much more than just information about the food—he gave us fascinating history, local stories, and great recommendations for the rest of our stay. His knowledge, personality, and enthusiasm made the tour even more memorable. We love taking food tours whenever we travel, and this one absolutely did not disappoint. In fact, we're already recommending Galway Food Tours to friends planning a trip to Ireland. It was the perfect way to kick off our stay in Galway and we highly recommend it!

This was my first ever food tour but my partner had been on many. We were both so excited for this and it exceeded expectations! It was excellently curated and executed. It was relaxed. I never once felt rushed. The variety of assorted foods and drinks was just perfect! All the locations were all set up ahead of time. Everything seemed to be withing just a few minutes walk of each other. The guide was delightful. Very relaxed and informative. You could tell she was enjoying her job. They must have had deals with each food and drink place because I’m pretty sure everything I had would easily equal or exceed the tour price. So value for money was excellent too! Cannot recommend this enough. If you do one thing in Galway, let this be it!

This was an absolutely phenomenal tour experience! I’ve done many food tours all over Europe and this is easily one of the top ones I’ve done. I also wholly appreciate that it wasn’t traditional Irish food, but had a specific intent.

What a fun, must do experience in Galway. Danny was an amazing guide full of historical facts as well as teaching us all about the different whiskey making processes. Don't let the "whiskey tour" scare you away. It was perfectly curated with delicious food pairings and short walks between pubs. We would absolutely choose to take this tour again

It went through three restaurants/bars/pubs, where not only tastings occurred, but also meals were enjoyed. At the end of the multi-day menu, a nightcap rounded off the evening. Of course, a lot was discussed about food and ingredients and their preparation, and Olly added a very personal touch to it. An all-around successful evening. Thank you!
