Start your day with a walking tour of the Old Town of Girona, one of the most emblematic city of Catalonia. Founded by Romans in 77 B.C., Girona will surprise you in its fusion between past and present times. Marvel at the colourful façades of the houses on the shores of the Onyar River, walk through the Old Town of Girona to visit the Call, one of the most well preserved Jewish neighbourhoods in Europe. Continue your walking tour of Girona into the Old City Walls, dating back to roman times. You can’t miss the chance to enjoy the great panoramic views of the city. Have a look to the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world, dating back to the XI century. Pass by the Museum of Archaeology and the Arab Baths, a Romanesque construction of the 12th century inspired by Roman baths.
Onyar River
The Onyar River is a river that passes by Girona and adds a layer of beauty to it. The colorful houses by the river gives off a beautiful reflection to the water, making it a sight to enjoy.

4.00Luis was great and the tours/destinations were great. My only suggestion would be to consider the amount of time you’ll be in the van (4+ hours), which isn’t a problem. The issue we experienced was that they put 8 clients along with the guide/driver. That’s 9 people in a 9 person van - which doesn’t sound like a problem… unless you’re in the front seat. My son and I sat in the front seat with Luis. My 5’9” son had to sit with his feet in front of my seating area (at an angle) the entire trip because there’s no room for his legs in the middle front seat. Personally, I feel that the tour operator should cap the limit at 7 clients so you’re not resulting in someone sitting in the middle front seat where there’s very limited legroom. A shorter person or child would likely be ok in that seat, but definitely not the average adult. Other than that, the tour was great!

5.00A great experience. Louis, was a wonderful guide and a terrific driver. Highly recommended. Pick up and drop off was done very professionally. One tip… Bring your bathing suit for a quick dip in the gorgeous blue sea.

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful day on this tour to Girona, Monells, and Calella de Palafrugell. Each stop was beautiful and unique, making for a perfect way to experience the charm of Catalonia beyond Barcelona. Our tour guide Chema, truly made the experience exceptional. He was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history and local insights throughout the day. They also made sure everyone was comfortable, kept the tour well organized, and took great care of the group from start to finish. Girona was full of history and stunning architecture, Monells was a charming medieval village that felt like stepping back in time, and Calella de Palafrugell was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean coastline. If you’re looking for a well-paced day trip with breathtaking scenery, interesting history, and an outstanding guide, I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our vacation in Barcelona!

5.00The trip was great, beautiful coast line and warm weather. Hotel pickup was so lovely! The boat ride was okay (was nice but would not feel the need to do again). The lunch spot was great, usually on these tours we assume we are in for a mediocre lunch, that was not the case today! Otherwise the tour guide was the highlight, Manu was great, approachable and flexible. Showed us great spots to enjoy the sun and take great photos!
