We booked the Golden Circle 1 day small groups trip. Agnes picked us up and we headed off first to the tectonic plates. The weather was horrendous going up there , but wow what a driver she was. She handled the roads, snow storm and high winds as a Pro. Keeping us safe whilst other cars along the road were getting into trouble. We stopped for lunch at the tomato restaurant which is extremely interesting and the food is delicious . Afterwards the weather improved and we headed to the waterfalls which are out of this world. Stunning. Then the Geysers and the Crater. We had a wonderful trip. Would highly recommend. Others on our trip were doing the 3 day tour which is one we will do on our return to Iceland. I would highly recommend booking with David the Guide.

Our tour was a lot of fun. Our guide, Thomas, was informative and fun to be around. The tips he gave us about what foods/restaurants/beer to try were helpful even after this tour concluded. Even more importantly, he handled the weather fluctuations with ease, making me so glad we paid for the tour rather than trying to drive ourselves.

I did two tours with David the Guide. The Northern Lights with Anya and the Golden Circle with Thomas. Both were PHENOMENAL! All guides were extremely professional and knowledgeable. The small groups were perfect and the days were organized. There was terrible weather that caused road closures and Thomas did a great job making sure we all felt safe, communicating what was happening, and getting us off the road to a safe location to wait out the storm. The communication and planning that the company does is amazing.

Amazing tour. All well organised. And Kolbeinn Thomas our guide was very good. He conducted entire tour at a very relaxed pace, with lots of very interesting info about all sightseeing locations, especially Tomato Farm. He also went extra mile to recommend short hikes around viewpoints & even took us around the Kerid Crater. His interest in hiking really came through in his guiding and that made the overall experience very memorable.

We had a great day with our guide, Thomas! The natural sites (pseudo-crater from collapsed volcano, geysers and geothermal pools, enormous waterfall, lake and fissures from tectonic plate movements) were all impressive and well worth visiting, despite very cold and sometimes very windy conditions. The hydroponic tomato farm was a delightful oasis in the middle and we enjoyed a very nice meal there. We appreciated that Thomas helped us avoid the larger crowds by adjusting the order of the visits and choosing a different entrance for the waterfall than most groups used (I preferred the view from that spot anyway!).

The group was close to 20 people, so didn’t feel especially small. Our guide was primarily a driver and dropped us off at the sites but didn’t explain much or show us anything. In some places, there wasn’t very much signage so it was actively hard to understand where to go. I was also disappointed that the times in the itinerary were very different - for example we got less than 15 minutes at the tomato farm. This location is even in the excursion title, so of course I was looking forward to seeing it. I would not book this tour again.

We had a great time, just the right balance between transport and amazing scenery. Agnes was a superfriendly and informative guide.

The tour itself was excellent. The pickup was late. They recommended arrival 30 min prior to pickup. Our guide was 10 minutes later than the this time. It was November so it was not a comfortable wait. Our guide was super friendly however and was very informative during our travel. The bus was very cramped and narrow between isles which made traveling very uncomfortable as the bus was at full capacity and we were all bundled up in our winter clothes. We have taken 3 different tour operators during our trip here and this was our least favorite due to our late pickup and bus being extremely cramped. The sights and tour guide were great however.
