The guided e-bike tour by Island Time -e-bike rentals was excellent. Our guide Kathy was outstanding. The bikes were great, easy to use, good education up front on use of the bike. Kathy was extremely knowledgeable about the park and surrounding area. She was fun and entertaining with her stories. She did not rush us and set a nice leisurely pace. I would highly recommend this tour.

John was an amazing and knowledgeable guide that brought to life the carriage roads of Acadia National Park! My sister and I wondered if 4 hours was going to be too long but with plenty of stops, magnificent views, and well articulated history, we could have spent another 4 hours with John!

Taking a guided bike tour is the best way to experience Acadia National Park. Our guide John was wonderful! He shared a ton of knowledge about the history of the Acadia, the landscape, and the wildlife. The stops we took were well timed and excellent photo ops. The electric bikes were excellent and easy to use.

When I booked the tour it said it was at 10:00. I arrived early 9:00 but then found out the tickets said 9:15. Also it did not explain you needed a park ticket so I had to scurrry to get that. The guide was super nice and explained a great deal about the park and vegetation. We had a great time .

John was our carriage road tour leader who explained so much about the settlers, bridge builders, beaver dams and all the flora and fauna along the way. The ride itself was 5 hrs with many stops to take in beautiful mountain/pond/bridge/forest views and photo ops. Highly recommend!

  • Great experience. Would repeat!
