4-hour option: Skip-the-line tickets to Westminster Abbey give you access to a priority entrance for groups. Entry during special events is restricted. It is a place of worship so all visitors, including infants, should keep noise to a minimum. Access for prams is limited. No luggage storage. Pets are not allowed.
3-hour option: Free entry to the Abbey for an organ recital (usually Sundays only), an evensong or a regular mass - subject to Abbey's events schedule . You will visit the Abbey on your own without the guide.
Please note that Buckingham Palace and Big Ben are not open to the public, entry is excluded.
This walking tour covers about 3.2 km (2 miles) on foot - wear comfy shoes!

The Guide Makes the Tour

2.00This experience is highly dependent upon your guide. Our guide, Lucy, was not the best. She was a short lady and carried a black umbrella with a sabre handle. Black and silver objects make you blend in extremely well in London. That means it is a pretty terrible indicator for your tour guide. Lucy would also ask questions and share her knowledge. While her knowledge is fantastic, her response when people get questions wrong make you not want to answer her questions. As she took us through the abbey, she would often start sharing historical facts without the group all being gathered so you would get to pick up the story half way through. In all fairness to Lucy, we did go on The King's Birthday so there was an exceptionally large amount of people and a parade coming through London. So that meant we really didn't see the full second half of the tour as she stopped at the parade and we watched the parade go by. Essentially, we got a half-effort tour of the Abbey and then went to a public parade which we could have seen anyway. For the money, I would highly recommend against this tour.

5.00You skip the long line waiting to get in. Less likely to get Rained on!! Our guide, Lucy was very knowledgeable about British history and the Royal families. Be ready to walk at least 7,000 steps.

4.00The guide was very informative. Nice to understand the historical significance of the buildings and businesses. There was no skip the line. We were advised not to go in Westminster unless we wanted to hear the music. No pictures, no exit, until program was over. All good. Went the next day.
