5.00An excellent peek into the history of the Hotel Frontenac. Highly recommend if you're visiting Old Quebec. We did not stay at the hotel, but wanted to learn a little more about it and see inside, and this tour scratched that itch! Guide was personable, funny, and highly engaging.

2.00Out of 60 minutes of the visit, we had 20 minutes in the basement (normally free) to see some photos of artists who visited the castle, the hall (normally free), and two ballrooms for the view of the river (identical to 10 meters lower at Dufferin Square). 10 minutes outside to talk to us about the Dufferin slide, and 30 minutes of childish anecdotes. Don't be mistaken, you will not visit the Château. Save your $30 for other things and go visit the basement and the hall by yourself; there are many explanations and photos.
