A fully-guided experience including an expert tasting of Drumshanbo Single Pot Irish Whiskey with one of our curious ambassadors and finishing with a refreshing Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin and Tonic at the Honey Badger bar in our majestic botanical glasshouse.

5.00Saiorse, our tour guide was AMAZING. The tour was informative and interesting, I learnt heaps. The tour was well paced. I loved hearing about the genesis of the gin in particular. Great value for money, a whiskey tasting AND a gin cocktail (or mocktail if you prefer) included in the ticket price. Lovely surroundings in peaceful Drumshanbo. 💯 recommend

5.00Staying in Carrick in Shannon and made the short drive to Drumshanbo for the Shed Distillery. An excellent tour, led by Aoibhe who was an engaging and knowledgeable guide throughout. The bar and cafe is fantastic and the Gunpowder products are enjoyable 😀

5.00What a hidden gem this is! Driving to Drumshanbo I honestly wasn’t expecting such a beautiful place and setting. The centre has a lovely gift shop with lots of local produce and gift ideas. Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised with the range of gin and vodka available, with lovely gift ideas too. The tour was very interesting and our guide explained the process and history of the distillery in great detail. We got to see the actual stills in use and there was sampling of the whiskey too, which I was told was exceptional. Later there was a free sample in the patio bar, where there was outside seating, weather permitting. We had a gorgeous lunch in the restaurant, the food was wholesome, fresh and very tasty. If we had been staying in the area for longer we definitely would have returned for lunch again. Apparently they have music on some evenings, check their website for details. Overall a very pleasant and surprising visit. Make sure you take time to visit!
