Guilin is a world famous city with numerous limestone hills and caves. According to geologists, Guilin was originally on the ocean floor about 300 million years ago. About 200 million years ago, a lot of limestone deposits were located on the bed of the ocean.
Due to the movement of the earth’s crust, the seabed rose and became dry land. With the erosion caused by rainwater and underground water, all the limestone hills, caves and rivers were formed as the karst formation during this period of time in Guilin. When visiting Guilin, the numerous fantastic caves are a great highlight that one should not miss. Among all the caves, the best ones to visit are the

What To Expect
Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan)
At 9am, our tour guide and driver will meet you at the Guilin or Yangshuo hotel then transfer to the Reed flute cave, from Guilin hotel need 30 mins driving, 7km. But if pick up from Yangshuo hotel then need 1.5hrs driving, 60KM. The Reed Flute Cave is reputed as " the art palace of the nature"where you can see beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone flowers with various shape, all glistening in colorfull lights.
Guanyan Crown Cave Scenic Resort
After visit the Reed flute cave, then we head to Guilin Crown Cave and need one hour driving. The Crown cave is a magnificent karst cave in Caoping Hui Nationality village about 29 km from Guilin. It is a part of Crown Mountain. The Crown Cave scenic area covers an area about 4000 hectares. Integrating natural scenes, meeting and holiday facilities, accommodation and dining service into one, the Crown Cave is reputed as “Li River Pearl”. Crown cave also has gained an entry into the Guinness book of records due to the numerous ways of exploration. The cave is equipped with modern sightseeing facilities such as railroad, sightseeing elevator, sampans, sightseeing roller coasters, automatic light and sound control guide. 5.00Interesting cave system in Guilen China. The cave is well lit with colored lights and a tour guides takes 30-40 people along the tour. It doesn't take long to do the tour, less than an hour. We walked this including a one year.
